I'd suggest near Ueno Station due to its Shinkansen access to Gala Yuzawa. However, Tokyo Station is also a solid option as a central hub. You can't go wrong with either.

Maybe staying overnight, there's aTobu Nikko bus pass allowing you to explore the area freely for two days, but, yeah, 💸💸💸

@@boukenrobin hahaha overnight stay will be nice but I have to use tokyo wide pass to the fullest like you did so probably just a day trip, just checked the chuzenji onsen free pass (2days) price is still abit cheaper than normal return bus price

Bisa dibeli di airport sehari sebelum mau dipakai atau pas hari pakainya. Di stasiun2 besar di Tokyo juga bisa. Tapi biasanya antre panjang kalau beli di airport.
