I have question. I downloaded the app 5 days ago, but I still can't go to open chats on it. When I'm trying to go to a open chat, it says "you are currently not allowed to join open chats in accordance with our user protection policy. " Why is that? 😕☹️

it is usual for foreign who just used kakaotalk, after few weeks you will be able to join groups

Hii i joined a open chat for a dancer (swf contestant) she is there and there are 1000+ people there so when she messages i cannot keep up bcs its too fast, but i’ve seen someone that they can only read a specific one person’s chat. Like they can only read the dancer’s chat. Do you know how to do that?

It takes a few weeks for foreigners (I'm guessing ppl that don't already live in SK) give or take. I think it took about 3 weeks for me to be able to chat.

It's not possible to disable it. But if you don't give it to people, they won't be able to find you.

Yes, unfortunately you need to have a Korean bank account and Korean number to send gifts.
