Xbox 360 E has an AV output which is an aux so can be used to plug headphones, 360 controllers have outputs but need converters

No, the capture card only does its job, it captures the video through that HDMI and with obs you only show what the capture card is receiving. Nothing like acting or emulating nothing.

Solid guide! I was following another tutorial for setting up my Steam Deck with my laptop as a monitor, but due to being new to OBS I didn't have everything set up right. And because of this, I was getting delayed audio during gameplay and I was very sad. I thought maybe the capture card I got was not powerful enough for games. I was looking around for a solution until I happened upon this video and it totally made my day! It appeared that I didn't have the "Monitor and Audio" turned on in the settings and used a different option for the audio stream. Anyways, now I can play Dark Souls 3 more comfortably on a bigger screen without getting a TV! God bless

When it comes to capture cards, my choice would be the one with the MS2130 chip that can do 60fps at 1080p in YUY2 color format, all while running on real USB 3.0. Most cheap capture cards use the MS2109 chip which is made specifically for USB 2.0, even the ones that fools anyone into thinking that it's using USB 3.0. Overall, it's a good video. 👍

I have that same laptop. Lenovo IdeaPad gaming 3. It also has a Ryzen 5 5600h, and RTX 3050 graphics. It's a goated laptop and I love using it so much. It's probably the best gaming laptop you can buy RIGHT NOW. Edit: I have customized it with a vinyl skin on the lid, so it's colorful, and it has my two favorite characters from an animated series I like stuck on it

i had to add an audio input capture as well in the source window. Audio didn't come through until then. All other steps got me to where it worked. There is an official Discord server that helped also

With a little digging I discovered an HDMI splitter would've been a better solution for him because he already has a monitor and headphones. He would just plug the HDMI to his Xbox 360 on one end and then plug the monitor and his headphones on the other side. That's it. He wouldn't need to use his tiny laptop screen or deal with any laggy input delay. If you don't have anything except a laptop, then maybe that would make some sense, but honestly, you'd be better off saving a little money and getting a cheap flat panel TV and then add dedicated speakers later. you can find good 1080p models for less than $100 nowadays.

This is the exact way I did it too! XD wanted to see if you did it a better way. but a even better reason to connect a console to a pc is if you have a VR headset. use big screen or virtual desktop mode and now you're playing in a cinema or home theater that's what i do.

It works on android mobile using a USB camera app. So chrome os shouldn't be an issue. I have used the same adapter over usb c otg usb hub to stream using the twitch mobile app.the only thing that took some time was to figure out how to change the audio from phone mic to the usb audio instead.

I bought a Hagibis video capture card to use my laptop (Galaxy Book 2) as a screen for my PS5, which I also just bought. However, when I try to connect it to OBS, it recognizes the capture card, but it shows a black screen. I can't hear any audio or see any image. Any idea how to fix this? Note: I thought it might be an issue with the PS5's copyright protection function, but when I tried to transfer images from my dad's laptop to mine using the same capture card, I had the same problem-no image appears.
