I love the "collage leftovers". This layout/collage is so beautiful. I think your mom would love it! You're so right about the importance of these photos. I think we are going to have a huge gap in photo for this generation. Then hopefully a resurgence for the next generation once it's realized that they have nothing to look back on. Thanks for a great video ❤

Thanks, girlfriend and I agree. So many people have photos on their phones, they don't download them and make a photo (my hubby included) and as time goes by those photos will get lost. I do hope the next generation will continue what we have always done. Stay cool, gf and big hugs. ✨️🤗✨️🌸💕

What a lovely woman your mom was, and how special for your boys to have pics of her at their age! And thank you for doing scrapbooking, it’s motivating me to get back to it. I continue to buy paper of course, but now going to use it! I shudder to think what my husband would do with it all if something ever happened to me - recycle bin or worse. 😢

My paper closet looks like Michael's Crafting section for scrapbooking paper 🤣🤣 I can't wait to see how much of it I have left after I get all my photo's down and in books. This is a beautiful way to remember your mother Barbie. I am sure you brought alot of joy into her life. I just love those black and white photos from the 40's and 50's. They are such a cute size to work with and the composition of this page is perfect! Blessings - 🌼🌺🌼

Thank you, Melodie. I LOVE all the old B&W photos. I think they are more special than the colored ones. Now, when I take certain photos, I'll run them off as Black and White ........ some look more beautiful that way. Hmmm, that would make a good video too, wouldn't it? Stay cool in this heat wave. We love 'leftovers' when it comes to food,but I love the idea of 'collage leftovers'' an inspired idea. This scrapbook/memory book for your Mum is looking amazing and is lovely and creative way to celebrate her memory/her life. And using all her favourite things on the pages enhances this celebration of her. But using the left overs on this page also create a unity with all the pages too which when the book is complwte will look amazing. This page has an elegance to it as well and a little element of retro too. You are also creating a book/memento that can be passed on from generation to generation almost become a sort of created family heirloom. I like the fact on this new page you've used a photo that you really love of your Mum and that your Dad loves too it adds to the page somehow. The phrase "Legacy of love" seems perfect for this page.
