@Andy Kriebel I am looking that having a parameter with the name list. When choosing specific name in the parameter list then his sales revenue chart should show. This is not only filter. But I want to be automated. When choosing a name then specific chart will update for the specific sales person's revenue example john has 100k revenue then when choosing john in the parameter list then the chart should automatically updated to 100k graph (only john revenue chart, not all the sales person) when choosing alex with 200k revenue then the chart should also update to 200k revenue for the specific salesperson I used case statement in tableau but only the name can be filtered but the chart is not updating.

Very helpful, thank you! I am trying to do the same parameter selector based on Measure Names for my dashboard. Could you suggest any way how can I color the selected Measure Name? For example, the selected measure name would become yellow, and the others are grey.

I am looking for when choosing John in the list then his detail or chart should show only. When you choose Alex then it should only show his details. Choosing specific name and specific details. I cannot find this in youtube and google.

This sounds more like a filter than a parameter. Give that a shot.
