How to Use Mid/Side Compression Like a Pro!

Great demo Matty. I need to try this mid side compression myself for a bit wider mix. I didn't need widening myself but the audio does. One interesting thing about my DAW, Studio One 7 Pro, I can use a splitter in any channel and create mid side where I can drop a compressor into the side.

Loved it, great vid. Glad you addressed bringing up sides can bury the mids. Definitely have used mid compression on the highs berfore in mastering, it's very useful. Will have to try it for clashing mid instruments w/ vocals, and your side suggestions. Cheers.
