Thanks for your comment and support. You probably watched the video kzbin.info/www/bejne/aqPUm2ujabSkntE In the playlist, you will get MySQL on a Local Network and with Hosting to access from the internet as well. Stay tuned.

@skillheader Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for watching and for the awesome like and comment! Under the CRUD system explained in the video below, tables are not constrained, no matter how they are linked. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pnTZm3djr9N_f6M

Hello, I am stuct with OLE objects didn't display on MS ACCESS with link with SQL server varbinary(MAX). Thank you.
@skillheader11 ай бұрын
By the way, I do not prefer the method of OLE objects or embedding pictures into database tables due to many reasons. The database size and image retrieval speed are the major reasons. I store the link to the image from a shared folder. Hope it helps. Thanks for your comment.

it would be so much simpler if there were Access tables in OneDrive that could be linked to desktop front end Access files.

Gave this one a Shot! It Didn' worked for me! :/ When i open the table in Access, it shows a message : ODBC Call Failed and the table shows #Name? in all fields :/ Repeated the steps 3 times .....any ideas? Thank you so much :)

Please ensure the Apache and MySQL servers are started and running from the XAMPP Control Panel. If the issue is not resolved, please provide this information: Which MS Access version you are using? Which version of ODBC connection you have installed? Which name of ODBC connection is appearing in your ODBC connection list?
@corbendallas45879 ай бұрын
@@skillheader Yes, the apache and MySQL servets are up and running with the green colour on them -XAMPP am using is version 3.3.0 -Ms-Access 2021 LTSC professionel Plus -MySQL Connector/ODBC 8.4.0 Freshly downloaded from their website as you suggested in your video -mySQLConn is appearing, and i followed all the steps, step by step exactly as you show in the video, all went as smooth, eccpt when i clicked to open the table in Access, i have a message saying : ODBC call failed, and the table shows #Name? In all fields....and i can't add a record in access as you did in the video :) Any Ideas? Thank you :)
