I would like to see this kit make short work of removing any old mixer tap on a cast iron bath, make sure you got a basin next to the tap end of the bath for good measure as well, that would be the ultimate test in my opinion.

Had a set of these for about 18 months now and love them. I’ve had a couple of problems with the extender bar but nerrad have swapped them no questions. Fantastic tool, fantastic company.

I have got this kit. It is very heavy duty but doesn't always do the job. Sockets are not always long enough to reach the nut on the rod for mixer taps. For pillar taps retaining washer nuts, in most of the cases the head is too big to fit and turn. You showed that it works with a big basin, why you don't show the same with a small wash hand basin? Box spanners and basin wrench can reach everywhere. You can use a ratchet wrench in conjunction with a socket and extension to drive a box spanner anyway if you want to make yor life easier. Old school never disappoint!

I've actually bought this a year ago, it takes a bit of getting used to but it's a brilliant bit of kit, the only thing is you will still need other bits of kit where the back nut a bigger then any attachment that's offered in the red box. So you'll still need a big back nut spanner that you will need once in a blue moon

It's OK but trying to using it when a bath is hard piped in is rather hard as the basin socket doesn't ratchet so you have to constantly take it off and move it

Looks OK but can get most of that set for £15 as a socket set. Wish you could just get the 4 bath and basin tools on their own. What are they like on copper tap tails where you can't pull the pipe away like a flexi will it slide over the tap connector nut to reach the tap back nut

@@tomkatgastraining thanks just trying to refresh my mind. As can't find it in the gas books I have. I thought it was just lpg as you get flat faced seals like tap connectors on hobs etc. And can remember something in a TB on fire testrictors and capping with a plug nut can't remember what it said.

I brought the tool station one six months ago. The ratchet broke after a few uses (and so did my work colleague 's). Purchased the nerrad tap spanner kit last week and have already used it 4 times. It is far superior (even though it is 3x the cost)
