How to use NEW AR+ GO Snapshot Mode in Pokémon GO

*CORRECTION* you CAN add more Pokémon to a single photo when starting from your Pokémon storage. When the placement bar shows up you can press the 'square' button at the bottom right to add more Pokémon. Why it's a square and not a plus or something intuitive is beyond me 😂

When you only have one Pokemon out, and want to add another: 1. Tap on the “Take Pokemon Back” button (bottom left corner) 2. Tap on the “square” button on the right side of the bottom bar. 3. Pick more Pokemon! Took a while to figure out, it’s not very unintuitive.

My sister and I ended up with the update. In my opinion its really fun for when you are at home sick or unavaliable to go outside! One thing that is true that my sister noticed is that its kinda laggy! Hope they fix it up!

Another special research beside Marshshadow special research is Necrozma special research. Complete this special research to obtain sun fusion item ( Sun badge) and moon fusion item ( Moon badge). Sun fusion item allow fuse Necrozma with Solgaleo whereas Moon fusion item allow to fusion Necrozma with Lunala. Plus another ultra evolve item which the item in its dragon shaped to allow to ultra evolve Necrozma to Ultra Necrozma.

You can access the new snapshot feature from your storage, to save you from scrolling down to the camera every time. You just select one pokemon and then when you're in the screen selecting where to place it there is a button in the bottom right that looks like a stop button. Press that, and it will take you to your storage where you can select more pokemon.

Glad to see you're on the mend. Hope you recover fast! Feature is kinda cool, but seems too tedious for me. I was perfectly happy taking a pic of my buddy with the background of where ever I was. No "find a spot". Now, huge pokemon won't fit in the house! Oh, well, glad some people will enjoy and make good use of the camera. :)

Personally the only snapshots I take is the buddies I’m working on or community days for the extra spawns but other than that AR+ is one thing I’ve never been worried about.

Zangoose and Heatmor are the 2 I will be grinding for! My goal is to do at least 50+ battles on both days 🤐🫡 Do star pieces work for the ×1.5 increase for stardust for GBL? If so, might be a good idea/ strategy to use Dialgas special move to freeze the star piece timer for 30+ minutes or so.. and possibly be in an area with a lot of gyms so you can also use a Lucky Egg at the same time and get that ×10 + ×2 xp boost. So many options... if anyone has any good strategies please comment and share with the community! Thank you

it doesn’t suck but i feel that it will be underused. taking ar photos is one of those aspects of the game like pvp that a lot of the players don’t bother with. still a positive for those who do, without truly detracting from other aspects (unless this is flat out their reasoning for removing basic ar)

Now if only we did not need to be logged into the game. I say this because sometimes I would like to take pictures but the cell signal is non-existant and then I cannot put a pokemon in the picture. I would suggest to Niantic a mode where it takes whatever pokemons are in the cache of the game and run with it. Places with no-signal: the top of the Empire State Building, inside a cruise ship, my upcoming safari in Kenya, my upcoming climb of Kilimanjaro.
