Abdullah Basim you can only record games. You can’t screen record just your screen. I’m pretty sure you can only record your games.

People still call it "ShadowPlay" to this day. It's a good name. I don't know why Nvidia still insist on calling it "Share" even after they removed the feature to share your controls with another player.

You can still record games that are not supported (by default) by ShadowPlay by adding this game in the Nvidia Control Panel (using 'Manage 3D settings' , under the tab 'Program settings' select the game you want to be able to record under 'select a program to customize'). I tried it with Post Scriptum, a game that is not supported by Nvidia ShadowPlay, and it works like a charm.

If you have a lot of storage you can also bump up the bitrate and it looks even better. Oh, and if you chose in-game resolution it let's you increase the bitrate up to 130Mbps.

So after watching your tutorial I tried to record my screen (screen video of my screen activity, not a game) on my ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo UX581 15.6” 4K UHD Intel Core i7-9750H, 16GB RAM, 1TB PCIe SSD, GeForce RTX 2060 laptop. So when I hit Record > Start on the Overlay, or use Alt F9, NVidia shows a prompt 'A supported game is required to use this feature'. What am I doing wrong? Again, I'm trying to use Shadowplay as a screen recorder of my screen activity such as browsing through a website, not to record a game.

I downloaded this to start recording some things I do when I play World of Warcraft. Its telling me that my computer isn't compatible with Shadowplay unless I have GEForce desktop GPU 600 series or higher. IS there a way around this? I was reading somewhere else that you can get it to work other ways but i cant seem to make it work. My drivers are up to date. My specs are: GE Force GT 730. Intel Core i5-4460 CPU @ 3.20 GHz. 7.93 GB RAM. Any help would be appreciated.

If you don't see overlay under the features that means your graphics card probably doesn't support shadowplay . Which graphics card do you have ?
