Hi! You need to start OBS in your PC or Laptop to record the session, simple. Not possible to cast, I suppose.

You haven't used gmeet during recording? Have check that it can't capture the voice of the attendees on Gmeet? You have any idea about it?

Sorry for that. I recorded many videos using OBS while conducting online classes using Google Meet with proper video and audio from both the ends. Yes there is a problem when we use Bluetooth earphones while recording the online session with OBS then the participants voice can't be recorded.
