When looking physically for OBs, Afro hair shops are some of the best when looking for classic pomades. The ones in Berlin have the best I've ever been to.

Yo the best thing I found out how to take off oil based pomades like Murray’s , you can put baby oil in your hair and comb it through then shower and it comes off right away, I prefer it more than dish soap cause dish soap strips your hair of all nutrition and things that’s besides the point. Baby oil is great

I’m gonna try this. Sounds Nice. You reckon coconut oil could work too?

I appreciate the video but there is some inaccurate info. OBs do NOT cause acne! Petrolatum does not cause acne. Totally wrong. I use OB pomades on the blazing southern heat all summer and never had any problems with skin or melting. The hold might be slightly less firm. OB’s DEFINITELY allow you to have volume! Ever heard of Elvis Presley? Try something like goon grease.

I have straight but very thick hair. I’m mixed with Mexican, black, Native American and white so my hairs very unique. It’s not curly and thick like black hair but it is super super thick , and stands straight stiff like if I tried to wet my hair and slick it back (with just water) my hair will just jump straight back up after pushing my hands thru it trying to smooth back. If that makes sense. What do you think I should use to try and slick my hair back?

It normally depends on length, if it's too short your hairs will stand up. I would say keep about an inch or inch and a half on the top. However if you're looking to slick it back I would recommend you use a hard hold water based pomade since they can hold down your hair.

Hey Cortéz i need some advice i have wavy/curly hair because i have Honduras in my blood and I'm trying to slick my hair back, the top looks good but the right side of my hair is a little curly and the left is straight but the back is wavy how can i make all my hair straight ?

You should probably use a water based pomade that gets stiff so you can train your hair to get straight. Problem is with curly hair you can't really get it straighten naturally
