A few questions... 1) Can you use multiple characters you have created in a single image? 2) Can you request your character to be on a plain background so that you can easily remove the background and add characters to your own backgrounds? 3) 2000 credits to create a character, how many credits for a typical image?

hi! thanks @wade btw for this great vid on the characters feature! we just launched it fresh in beta, so feel free to hit us with any feedback. thanks for the great questions! 1)we're launching inpainting with "characters" in the next week or two, so you can achieve multiple characters in the same image (will be also likely a beta launch, so still lots of improvements needed, but getting there!!) 2) you can get plain backgrounds pretty easily by putting descriptive words in the prompt like "solid color white background". but if you want transparent background, OpenArt has an editor that for auto removing backgrounds. There're also many other online tools you can use for this. OpenArt will likely also support generating images with transparent backgrounds directly soon. 3) credits for image gen vary depending on the model. for higher quality models like flux dev, each generation is typically ~10. 2000 is basically the cost of training a model, which the characters feature involves.

All looks amazing! Just the 2000 credits to train a character seems a bit cray. Train 2 characters and we’ll have no credits to create any images of them w the basic paid plan.

Love the idea but Openart is still so expensive and misleading. They have an Infinite plan that isn't infinite and even that plan only lets you create 12 Consistent Characters that you show in your video. They let you train 2 characters on the basic plan, the basic plan gives you 4000 credits and it costs exactly 4000 credits to train both characters leaving you with .... zero. Sorry Openart but that doesn't wash for most of us.
