I just ordered this. Did you glue your edges together before the base coat or does the base coat hold them together and fill in between - same question regarding the strap end you showed that had a folded edge ?

Hi Mary! You apply the base coat next to the sewn edge, no glue is required. The base coat fills in the gap between layers nicely!

The type I used has some acetone, so I think that either would work - but you should definitely do a test spot on your fabric to make sure the it does not do any damage!

That roller is not that good. Once the paint gets inside the black holder it will dry and the roller will not move any longer. It is impossible to take it apart for cleaning!

Avoid the twist in your straps by sewing both edges the same direction . Rookie mistake 😢
