I didnt do any of this and mine worked just fine. I mirrored as normal, weeded, and then put parchment paper over the pattern and pressed. No issue

He spoke about one brand. Not all brands work the same, so check before you cut! No one wants to find out after cutting.

Can u layer htv on top of pattern htv??..like letters??
@MakersGonnaLearn4 жыл бұрын
That is a fantastic question! We aren't sure, we've never tried it. I would have some worries that the other HTV would not stick well to the patterned HTV.

Can you use any transfer tape for htv?
@MakersGonnaLearn4 жыл бұрын
Hello! So, all regular HTV has transfer paper built into it! That's why you have to mirror the material and cut it shiny side down :) However, for patterned HTV, you will need special transfer tape that can withstand the heat: www.143vinyl.com/heat-transfer-mask-15-x-5-yard-roll.html , or you can use the transfer tape you already used on a regular HTV project! kzbin.info/www/bejne/a6atqayEnrlmnNE

When you buy patterned HTV vinyl from other companies, does it come with the transfer sheet? Thanks for the Video on using printed HTV, I would have never known about the not mirroring it and using the special transfer tape😊
@CatharineLarock5 жыл бұрын
Cricut patterned you do not need to do that...you treat it like traditional HTV or Iron On
@leighsutherland62225 жыл бұрын
If the htv is one that is not mirrored, it comes with a transfer sheet. I suggest reading the package if you are buying in a store, and reading the product description or asking if you are buying online. Not all htv is used the same way, so it is up to the user to be aware before cutting! I have read unfair Amazon product reviews from people who did not know the htv, patterned and unpatterned, did not need to be mirrored. These reviews are unfair because of user mistakes!!

We're going to need WAY more information then that to help you, friend :) What brand is your material, what cut setting did you have it on? "wont pill off" your mat? "wont pill off" your blank? We need info in order to help! :)

Hello...love your video. I tried the printed vinyl and it didn't work. . I followed the instructions but when I weeded the writing it did not separate from the printed vinyl....I just wasted a whole sheet. What did I do wrong??
@amandaparker25854 жыл бұрын
That happened to me too my first few times 😤 I was using a cricut and for the next try I turned the dial to card stock for a bit of a stronger cut through the vinyl and it worked great!
@madelinea.85965 жыл бұрын
I have tried cricuts pattern sheets and find they have an odor. Are these cricuts brand?
@lauraziegler4496Ай бұрын
Easy to follow video, but needs a warning - my Cricut Maker automatically mirrored when I chose Everyday Iron-On so I wasted quite a bit of material - didn't realized it would change the setting on me and then I would have to go back and turn it off manually. For some projects it won't matter that much, but my project had words.
@leighsutherland62225 жыл бұрын
Do yourself a favor, and find out before you cut ANY htv whether or not it needs to be mirrored! This will save you from wasting it. Patterned or unpatterned, some htv does not need to be mirrored, so be certain what your brand requires before you cut it.

Why does my explorer 2 tell me that I can’t do anything bigger than a 7x9?
@susansharpe7255 жыл бұрын
Is your image a print then cut? That is likely the problem. Change the images to cut instead of print.
