Hi, something's not working for me. I've installed the Solana App v. 1.0.6, activated autosign and closed my Ledger Live application. However, when I try to connect it I will run into an "unknown error" when it's supposed to show my different wallet adresses in Phantom. Any advise? Thank you!

Hey, so I am confused. I did exactly how you outlined. I setup a new Nano X, setup a new Solana wallet in it. But when I try to import that SOL wallet to Phantom (like showed at 4:02), the Phantom imports a wallet that is not the same as the wallet shown in Ledger Live. I also tried sending some test SOL to this wallet and it didnt show up in the Ledger Live.

There seems to be some issue with the Phantom wallet. Have you tried using the Solfare wallet to see if you're able to view your Ledger SOL account there? Hi, We're very happy to hear that 🙂. It's indeed exciting!! I'll address your questions one by one - 1. The procedure is exactly the same for Ledger Nano S, S Plus, and X. 2. The clear signing is available only for the apps which are already integrated into the Ledger Live application as explained here - www.ledger.com/academy/the-defi-experience-in-ledger-live. However, when you interact with other DApps outside the Ledge Live app, you need to enable the blind signing which still is inevitably risky. Hello, there seems to be a misunderstanding here if your ledger device is correctly set up with Metamask your accounts and applications won't be linked in anyway to your "default" Metamask account! So there is no risk that the Solana application from your device interacts in any way with your regular Metamask account.

Hey, I have some USDC on my Phantom Wallet that I'm trying to send to my Ledger. But when I enter my Ledger's USDC address in Phantom, it says "invalid Solana address" even though it's USDC being sent to a USDC address. Any ideas??

Excellent video, very clear. Concern on my side, when I request a transaction on Phantom, it asks me to validate on my Ledger but it does not offer me validation... yet the Ledger is unlocked on the Solana wallet. Nothing happens, Phantom is waiting for the validation that I am not able to give, I do not see where the problem comes from; would you have an idea?

Inserting your phantom wallet (hot wallet) seed phrase on to your Ledger device is not recommended as the seed phrase is already online and could be compromised! Say I made a possible mistake and set up the phantom wallet without the ledger. Then used said wallet to transfer Atlas to my ledger and it didn't show up in my ledger live app in my Solana account. Did I just lose the Atlas coin that I sent? The transaction does show up on solscan that it sent the coin to my ledger solana account address, but I don't see it in my recent transactions nor does it show up in solana account. Is there anyway of finding my potentially lost Atlas coin, or did it poof into crypto outer space?

Don't worry your tokens aren't lost. They are simply not visible in Ledger Live app as they aren't supported yet. You can use Solflare wallet with your Ledger device to view and manage your tokens. Hi - yes, that is correct! You can always use your seed phrase to recover assets on a new device :)

At 3:24, my phantom does not come up with a "connect hardware wallet" option. It's just not there. My ledger is plugged in, it's up to date, solana is installed & an account created for it. Haven't been able to figure out how to get it to recognize the ledger.

Hey, Thanks for the additional information. If we understand correctly, you want to import your existing Phantom Solana account (NOT derived from Ledger device) to your Nano S Plus. In this case, it is not possible to do that since the smart contract is linked to your regular Phantom account which is derived from the 12-word recovery phrase and not the 24-word recovery phrase of your Ledger device. Your Ledger device can control only the accounts which are derived from the 24-word recovery phrase that it contains at the time of the creation of the accounts. There is no connection between your existing account which is derived from the 12-word recovery phrase of Phantom and the 24-word recovery phrase of your Ledger device. However, you can cancel the smart contract, transfer your SOL from your existing Phantom account to the Ledger-protected account, and sign the smart contract again but from the Ledger-protected account this time. Here is a guide (support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/360016265659-Solana-SOL-?docs=true) to add your Solana account in Ledger Live and this one is for connecting your Ledger device to Phantom (support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/4408131265169-Set-up-and-use-Phantom-to-access-your-Ledger-Solana-SOL-account?docs=true). Note that the Phantom app acts only as a visual interface to see and manage your cryptos. Your private key is secured in your Ledger device.
