@samsmyers On Logic you can combine all midi tracks onto one view, so for orchestral arrangements it's really to see what instruments are playing what parts. Is there a way to do this on Abelton?

Sam - nice vid, you move really fast, and I'm a novice. What I don't see is how can I simply insert 6 chords in time? Your screen never shows any more that 4 bars - how do you add more time to the right in the clip viewer/editor? Can't find this anywhere in any Ableton training or YT vids. Thanks.

Oh, and clicking on the time line and moving up does not increase the time in the viewer, past 1.4

Not trying to Hate on Studio One, which is where I'm coming from... but this is a freaking god send. Studio One doesn't work intuitively and has 1/10th the piano roll functionality.

they are mac keys, translate Command = Ctrl, Option = Alt

How are you dragging and dropping a copy of the note? When you draw chords you start with one note and drag a copy to the 3rd interval. Then you drag a copy of that note to the 5th interval and make the chord. How are you doing that? What are the keyboard shortcuts you are using to do that.

This wasn't a very thorough presentation of the new features. Forgot quite a lot. Also Flams and Grace notes are musical terms but mostly for drums. Euclidian isn't random it's patterns that evenly fit within circles because music cycles.

Coming from FL Studio the piano roll in Ableton is very un-intuitive. In FL Studio if I want to create more notes to the right and keep going I just mouse wheel to zoom in and out, in Ableton it's just... yew
