Yeah. He skipped the driver installation and making sure in your [Devices and Printer] under [Controller Settings]>[Properties] that your controller isn't set to nothing as setting it to xbox360 is optimal. There are afew smaller steps depending on if your using your controller wirelessly or not.

there are bunch of settings and tweaks that you can do with DS4 windows and this guys just shows you how to connect and download the software. wtf.

Those who cant connect the controller, enter DS4Windows and goto controllers. At the bottom right of the tab, press stop and start. It worked for me.

Step 1. On steam add non steam game. Add Epic store launcher. 2. Enable all controllers tick all boxes for Xbox switch and PS4 in steam settings. 3. Start big picture mode. Launch epic games with desired controller. PS4 May need to be plugged in but switch no. 4. If games exit full screen mode (happens to me because I’m clicking out of big picture for a sec at start up u have to because epic games launcher will pull u out of big picture. Just click open game window) then go to in game settings with controller and set it back to full screen from there. These controllers Worked for me on epic games store version of GtaV: PS4 controller (wired) Switch pro wireless. Note: if games are older than PS4 games PS4 controller may not work. anything that’s on both PS4 and pc should be ok

Awesome tutorial, but I am experiencing a major issue with this solution and that is that the keys are too quick. For instance it goes twice the direction with any L stick movement. This also happens with X, O, Triangle and Square. When I try to exit the game I can't even do it because the window pops up but then goes away again because of that double click thing. I tried to look around in DS4 settings but haven't found out how to fix this. Help would be appreciated! :)

the controll is completly switched. like circile is x ,x is square, square is triangle, triangle is circile, move down is move up and move up is move down ( on the right joy stick to but theres no problem ) . theres only one game where it works normal

After starting the DS4 windows up you go to setting and select "install drivers". Follow the instructions there and it should work. If it doesn't Run/Search [Devices and Printer] from your windows menu(button on the bottom left by default). It's normally found in [Control Panel]. Find your controller, right click it and select [Game Controller Settings]. Go into [Properties] and make sure the preferred controller is [Xbox360].

I tried all the solutions but didn't work for me. My brother happened to buy a new controller, plugged it in, worked perfectly well compared to my old controller, didn't need to do anything else. I Have no idea how this happened to my old controller other than assuming it's damaged.
