I’m fired up too! I’m in West Virginia and have millions ‘purples’ on my property! I was hoping I’d find out it was a great ‘natural’… yay 😁 I’ve got big Mullein too. My favorite wild medicinal plant is ‘WILD LETTUCE’!!! I live with miserable all over body aches… but Wild Lettuce has changed my life!

@@bigsteve9279 oh?? I'll have to look into that!! My mom and I both have body aches! Both have fibromyalgia, she has osteopenia, and I have Hypermobile Ehlors Danlos, among other things. I can't stomach meds, so I've been looking into natural remedies! I appreciate any help. Thank you! 🖤

Sweetie, my aches and pains make me feel worthless… I’m 59, I’ve abused my body my whole life. I am able to do stuff around the farm but there’s not anything that doesn’t hurt on my body… including my hair. 😄 But when I’m using my Wild Lettuce regularly, like a daily med, I feel pretty daggone good! It takes me from ‘hurtin’ fer certain’ don’t feel like doing anything… to “I’m cruising thru my chores and feelin’ good’. Big tip for ya~ Wild Lettuce can grow like a floret, like well, lettuce… and grows everywhere around me. BUT the amazing Wild Lettuce plant also grows like a big stalk! Like a stalk of corn, probably most is about the size… but you will never see corn grow tall like Wild Lettuce! I’ve had plants reach higher than 15 feet tall! So for me, I rarely harvest florets, even though they’re literally around my house, because Wild Lettuce stalks are ALL MEDICINAL! So I choose to snap an 8 foot stalk down, rather than bend over picking at the ground. So if you have a choice go big stalks! Btw… Wild Lettuce florets should be starting popping up about now!

Excellent presentation, relaxing and easy to follow. I don’t have a fancy dehydrator, so it was super great and helpful to see you use your oven. How much dried herb would you use with a mug of hot water for tea? I noticed these for the first time yesterday, growing profusely in my backyard. I figured the Good Lord provided these as a gift for a needed antihistamine this week. Thank you 🙏🏼 so much for sharing and affirming its use in such a simple, great way! All the best to you and God bless!

I'm not sure if the consistency and texture would be right. If you are looking for a vegan option, you can try using carnauba wax, soy wax, bayberry or berry fruit wax. 🙂
