hi, could you update this video please? with quizlet's latest version, you can't make classes like you used to. I'm kinda stuck at this step, it used to be really easy, now there's no button for that on my home page or anywhere else I could find. thanks!

okay, so clicking around randomly sometimes does pay: they added a new button called "Generate" to the bottom left corner (I'm using the desktop version from a Windows PC and I have a Plus subscription) and that is where you can create (and not generate, which sounds totally out of place in this context) new classes.

Can't you add a review mode for terms that you already studied through "learn" where depending on if you wrote the answer right or not, an algorithm will decide when you should again see said term based on how many times you mistook/was correct? Memrise, for all its flaws, had a great review system, up until they decided to delete all user made decks...

This plus button does not exist on my main account which is a very old account but has Quizlet plus. When I go to the class, there is no plus button, and when I go to a set and go to add to the class, it says "you do not have permission to add sets to any of your current classes" and I know four people who have had this issue please fix this. This is no small issue, and it prevents people from helping others out

Does anyone know of a flash cards app on iOS that reads out your flash cards, leaves a pause and then reads the answer. I had one on my android phone but on my iPhone I can’t find one, doing revision while I’m driving is very useful, I’m surprised this is not a feature of every flash cards app

Honestly, I don’t think there is one. I’ve had an iPad for 5 years and have used a handful of flash card apps yet I have not found one that does this.

@@navjotsingh2251 Thanks, yeah I ended up getting Quizlet, which has a sort of read functionality, but it only leaves about a second before reading the answer :/ so only really suitable for very short answers. It would be so useful for testing while commuting.

No More Gravity! Their site said they eliminated it because it wasn't used much. I used it with my adult ESL students. I think this was a bad choice on their part and left Quizlet a comment on this.

I don't know what went wrong, but Quizlet is not what it used to be. I regret purchasing a year subscription. My students are constantly told they have to upgrade to keep practicing. Huh? Didn't I buy this so that wouldn't happen? Also, I can't see student progress anymore, and there is absolutely no support. Good luck getting a human to respond and address these issues. Do not bother, Quizlet isn't worth it.

That big blue circle covers up way too much. I can't tell what is going on. Far better to turn your cursor into a little colored circle and use that to highlight. Then, at least, you can see the context.

Setting your Flashcards to PRIVATE is very important. If you are copying material from a course for study (making flashcards) there is the potential for you being flagged for copy rite violations if it is set to PUBLIC! Legally this is public distribution and can get you in hot water. Quizlet does not automatically set your flashcards/study cards to private which is incredibly irresponsible and opens any student or teacher to legal problems. How do I know? I forgot to set a study set to private and two months later received a notification of "copy rite violation." Upsetting? You bet! I had simply saved all of my quizzes and made them into flash cards. This is not cheating and a common practice to save all of your exams and quizzes for study BUT if it set to Public then you are publicly distributing someone elses work. That was certainly NEVER my intention.
