How to "Use" reWASD Beside Call of Duty
🔧Call of Duty and Ricochet anti-cheat updated their policy, and now reWASD and other mapping tools are considers as cheating tools and anti-cheat will kick you out of the game and even ban you for using it or have it installed on your pc! In this video i will show you you can use reWASD and play call of duty games!

So basically you're uninstalling and reinstalling the program.. Anyone could have thought of that that's what we're trying to avoid doing. I think they are searching for the device or driver that is being used so the real work around would have to be a driver with different device details and naming.

If anything how can I download it to uninstall it properly? My eset antivirus protection messes with it, it cleans it. It basically deleted it. I don’t have access to to it. Any help.. anyone?

Temporary disable your antivirus and then finish with uninstall process

delete rewasd. Activision banned rewasd so you can't play it rewasd installed.

In method i showed your rewasd is uninstalled from your pc so you can play cod and you can't use it in cod. But when you want to play other game where you need rewasd you only need to install it and you can use it with all settings and presets saved for that game

I played last night MW3 about 3 hrs with no problems..You have to restart your pc after install and uninstall rewasd or it won't work

Idk why everyone in this comment section is dumber than hell. This will not allow you to play with Rewasd on CoD, but is rather a way to keep Rewasd and your configs accessible on your computer. You leave it uninstalled until you play a different game that uses it. Also, the reason you do it this way instead of regularly uninstalling it and "not selecting the options to remove your configs" is because it leaves the installation files in an easy to access spot. If you want to fully uninstall it and search the internet or your computer each time you want to reinstall it, be my guest.

Thats what i did in this tutorial.I said if you want to play CoD it have to be uninstalled and i'm sorry if someone didn't understand or if my tutorial was unclear..

@easywayguides You did fine. The title of the video can be misunderstood, and your steps in the video lead back to installing the application in a way that could make people think that they need to reinstall it before they run MW3 again. Otherwise, the video is pretty clear.

Yeah i know, but i said that when they want to play the game where they want to use rewasd they will install it, when they want to play CoD they will have to uninstall it. But i know that many ppl will get confused,even think that they can use rewasd with cod, they dont have time to watch entire video, from start to finsh,they jump all over the video and then understand it on the wrong way.. Average view duration is 42% so that tell you all 😊

It works with all CoD games, they all use Ricochet Anti-Cheat system

You can't play with reWASD.This is only the one way how to use it with other games

Someone stated in another video you can use a program to rename the reWASD processes to something else and get it to work in cod after cod patched but it takes some work can you investigate and make a new video on how to still use with COD?@@easywayguides

maybe it could be possible to run reWASD on a second storage, not the one who host files game i have 2 M.2nvme installed, 1st for OS+games and a 2nd for AI/work... normally Ricochet ONLY scan the storage used for MW because if it scan your entire PC it would be a violation of consumers rights or legit ?!? i dont want them to check my hardware without a REAL reason, what i do with it or softwares are privacy and i dont agreed those terms or conditions of use 🤬🖕

If you ask me it should only scan running apps and processes,and not entire hard drive no matter where the game is installed I don't approve any type of cheating in online games,but to ban you for app on your pc that is not running is insane..

@@easywayguides that's the point i was confused, close a game or being ban on it because an app is running is a desperate act... another great example of the lack of time "made in Activision" to counter cheats but... what did we expect from a company who allow DS4 on his own tournaments ?!? so invasive method and uninstall my app, play their game, install it again is so boring... i think that my time is count with a COD game... they dont deserve my money for their practices... 🤮 and thx for the advices on your vid 👍

@@easywayguides i been using rewasd to navigate my windows vis controller for many years. Played cod with a controller using rewasd. Mw3 was never good to begin with. This is gonna be the dealbreaker for me. I use different games all with a rewasd custom button layout.
