Fantastic video you 2. Thank you so much. I have to say, because I have the old hammer and rivets and not the press, I have been installing Chicago screws instead, lol. A good deal more expensive but worth it with the less hassle they provide in installing. Particularly when I install a wonky rivet with my hammer and then have to pry it out somehow without damaging the bag, teehee. I'd love to buy the proper press and dies but it's quite an expensive piece of kit. Particularly if you want multiple different dies. Thank you so much for sharing. I love those copper rivets. Lee x

Brilliant video. Thanks for the clear demonstrations. i don't make enough bags to warrant a press, so I stick with the hammer method, but every time I see a press demonstrated I lean more towards investing in one 😄

It’s definitely one of the more expensive tools we bag makers can have. 😉

I have a hand press with various dies, but I’m glad he showed his favorite 😍 maybe I’ll try that one day!🎉

Thanks! I like both types of rivets, I think it depends on the finish you’re after. The copper traditional rivets look amazing on the leather tote..just adds that something special

I’ve only tried copper but I have seen brass ones. They’re not as common though
