Just an update. Samsung Pay is now rolled into Samsung Wallet so that's what you have to download from the Play Store. It uses NFC to make the transaction happen.

I wanna ask about the NFC payment of Latest Samsung Wallet App, do the PoS machine should be for debit/credit card payement or this NFC payment works on QR Code also on the PoS Machine? I mean we have to select Debit card on the PoS or it works with QR also??

You can also open the app with the phone in standby or lock screen by swiping up from bottom of screen .. this is easily enabled in the app settings.

Just hold the phone flat face up very close above the reader. You will see a 'tick' on your phone screen when payment is accepted.. usually within one or two seconds.

Well yes but only if you've grown up with mobile phones and similar. Older folk often still prefer to go around with paper and metal (money) in their pockets so a 2 minute guide like this is a useful reassurance that contactless tech won't bite (usually).

Its so easy in USA. For Samsung Pay in germany you have to make a new bank account at solarisbank. A lot of people are not even able to register for samsung pay because they using bank account whiche are wife+husband involved. Its not possible because there is no owner. Only 1 Person can be the owner of the account otherwise samsung pay is not able to register in germany. They also getting access to your bank account for checking your credability. If you have huge depts for example no samsung pay for you then. In germany everthing new is so damn complicated and stupid. Most people here also pay mostly by cash, due to pandemic its gotten more into mobile payments but still.

Here in UK it is very easy to use Samsung Pay with any bank card. I setup my HSBC credit card, Santander debit card and my loyalty cards in under 5 minutes. In UK it is very rare anybody uses cash anymore ... even for very small value puchases everybody uses a phone app.

@@mnazmi3046 Well, here in Australia, NFC payments is the primary way of paying for things so it works everywhere I go. I have yet to find a terminal where it doesn't work. It even works on train scanners as well. Does Samsung Pay have that feature?

Samsung pay give points where we can claim on their apps like vouchers, rebate, subscription, even can redeem galaxy buds/micro sd and other samsung gadgets. Every month offer different deals. This month is galaxy buds+. Last month deals was wireless charger and galaxy watch. We just have to pay using samsung pay and collect points every transaction.
