How To Use SimBrief with Infinite Flight

Quick note... you can also paste ALL of your waypoints into the Infinite Flight map search and add them all at once.

@@Xyphynn what I use to do is look put the flight plans through flight planner database decoder and for anything missing. I would look for those airways on flight radar 24 navaids, follow the airways and then jot down the missing waypoints in my Samsung notes. I still do this if I don't like simbrief's option and instead will take a partial flight plan and edit it to my own standards.

awesome! I used it for a long time. I copy the flightroute and transferred it to Infinity Flight. All the other things like load and fuel a load manually. Now its so much easier. Really perfect, good Job guys!

I personally don't step climb. I always go FL350 when going east and FL300 when going west. As I start to get closer to the destination, I won't need as much thrust to maintain between m0.80 and M0.85. I find that step climbing doesn't really increase fuel efficiency or range. I also find that after you get higher than FL300, you start going slower in ground speed, so if two plans are going M0.80 with 1 at FL300 and 1 at FL400 the one at FL300 is going to go faster and be for fuel efficient. As each plane becomes lighter and lighter on fuel burn and the thrust levels start to slowly go down, resulting in better efficiency. If you step climb your way up to FL400, well then your thrust level will be at an all-time constant because there is less airflow. But the higher you go, the colder the climate, which allows for the engines to be at high thrust and low fuel burn with light weight because the cold climate cools the engines off while at high thrust. But overall is step climbing worth it? In my opinion, no. I also love this new feature as I am alway trying to put together the perfect flight. Sometimes simbrief doesn't always give me the best looking ones or any Airways but I do try to adjust to my own standards by looking at flightradar24 navaids which shows me all the different airways and waypoints. London airspace is out of date by the way. I can go directly west over LHR or out of LHR. This means I still have to get a northwest flight plan or a southwest flight plan and avoid any Airways that connects to CPT. Hopefully, this will be the next navigational fix. But overall, I am more than satisfied with 24.3. The altitude presets are an amazing addition along with this simbrief option. There were some amazing liveries that were finally added that i have been waiting for since 2021 like the United Evo Blue on the B772 and B752. I was also caught by surprise with the British Airways One World on the B772. Another livery i have been waiting for since before the A350 update is the Air France 787-9. Hopefully this will end the unrealism with pilots using the Air France livery on the 787-10. But most importantly the biggest thing that I am most exited to see with this update is my home town airport, KIAH, finally in 3D. Now I have something to look at when I complete those sharp north turns opposite of the landing traffic as I fly directly over IAH. I hope to start seeing more realistic pilots with proper flight plans now as there is no excuse not to have a proper flight plan anymore. Sorry I know it's alot to read. It might take some processing lol.

Wow! I've had Infinite Flight Pro since March this year, and The price for all the amazing in-game perks plus additional things like this is just mind blowing. I 100% suggest to those who want a alternate flight simulation game. Just ensure you got a controller I use a PS4 controller, it makes flying much more fun!

simbrief is free to use, however you will be using an outdated airac cycle and not the current active one. other than that everything should work fine. only with a paid navigraph acct will then it be the lastest airac cycle but it doesn't affect much. and to answer your other quesrion no, it will not be part of IF subscription. if they do add it as part it'll definitely increase the subscription cost for IF

as the other guy said the airac is outdated but with the hundreds of flights I did with it outdated airac is fine, they usually don't remove waypoints in new airac so you're fine

You don't need a navigraph subscription if they offer it to you look for the decline button or it will say something like "maybe later."

No it doesn't. It only requires it to go past ARC2303. Me personally I have no idea what ARC2303 is but I do know the flight plans and airways haven't unless you are going west of LHR towards a VOR known as CPT. Infinite Flight hasn't updated the waypoints yet but I hope they will in the future.
