Wow...that's an amazing explanation of a website I never realized could do so much. Much like the rest of your videos, this was equally well-thought and presented! Thank you for what you do!

This is my go-to for flight sim (haven't started on my PPL yet). Been using this for a year now and I just learned a few new tricks from the video - thanks!

Most of my students have ForeFlight, so I would show them the web browser version of ForeFlight and have them use that if they wanted to use a computer. Allowed them to get weather briefs and file flights that would automatically sync with their iPad/iPhone.

Awesome video! I used to live in the area you were flying through. I'm familiar with the navaids as well as the terrain.

Great tool, yes, but how would you handle changes in altitude on your flight plan, especially if you're changing course East and West, or leveraging favorable winds aloft? Appears to me that you have to create separate flight plans and Navlogs due to this limitation. Please comment.

Best part is fuel costs for 100LL under the FBO tab. Allows you to plan a flight considering fuel stops with better prices!

Is there any free site like this that shows a profile view? Terrain/airspace enroute? Foreflight charges a high extra premium for such a simple feature.

I’m not sure why you would use SkyVector as a FF or GP user? I get it for the sim community or a pre-PPL student but that’s about it.

Little Navmap gives you worldwide coverage and most (theres no charts, weather overlay etc.) of the same functionality. Its a great tool and free to use.
