The spectrum meter tool is a super handy and useful tool! I’ve just begun to implement using it in my mixing work flow over the last few months and I feel like my mixes are coming out far more balanced and consistent than before. Thanks for confirming this for me Joe!

I used a Listen bus with a Spectrum Meter and not sure how but while hearing it and seeing it! I adjusted the EQ's of my tracks in the mix . I'm new to this and this was super cool. Very helpful.

Funny serendipitous timing. I just tried this a day or two ago. In Studio One, of course. Thanks, Joe!

A short advice to the diagonal line in the meter, it's the reference of a pink noise signal, the ideal loudness balance of all frequencies.

Very helpful, thank you very much. I usually fix while listening. But I will give the „take note first“ approach a go

It looks awesome, please guys update the rest of the plugins like analog delay and arpeggiator's theme to look like this!

I am by no mean anywhere near a professional mixing engineer (nor chess player, but I like both) but I was using this meter in mixing by soloing a given channel or group to see where that particular instrument lands in the spectrum. If nothing else for future reference. Might be something beginners like me can do to 'see' where the bass, guitar, piano, kick etc. fit into the mix.

I kinda like the 12th Octave mode when mixing. Which Analysis mode do you think is best?

How do you get the horizontal angle line to appear on your cursor in the Spectrum Analyzer. I had it, it disappeared, and I don’t know how to get it back.

And you can do great work with that hearing.

Wow - I start to lose it at 4K…. Have to use visual aids to check that my mixes are similar to commercial mixes in the upper ranges!

@@stephencarter8625 I went to an outdoor music festival and was really drunk standing next to the speaker. Wasn’t wearing ear plugs. 110db blasting through me for 2 hours. That night made a massive mistake. If I could turn back time. Blew the entire extended high frequency away. Kids if you’re reading this comment. Please ALWAYS wear protection at concerts.
