You can write about your aims and objectives at ay part of Activity 1 (and it is a good idea to repeat them at the start of Activity 2.

For PLC is the example I’ve done below how we should set it out: Looking into the market and identifying some key points, the market is in the MATURITY stage. The market has seen a reduced number of newly established soft play centers in the UK also pricing seems not to be competitive and more cost-plus pricing and the falling number of young children in the UK however, it is also slightly showing signs that it is still in growth with the market growing at 3-5% per year, rising demand for edutainment and new operators entering the market.

@@tutor2u-official ive never did plc so i tried it with my assignment last night Overall, the research pack suggests that the budget hotel market seems to be edging into the maturity phase but there are still some characteristics of the growth stage. In this market, the market leaders and their percentage of market share is well established which is a typical characteristic of a mature market. Because of the nature of the market, there is intense competition with pricing which is why I made an objective related to offering deals and discounts as I believe that this could help BRH compete and entice people to book a stay with them, which would help them extend this current stage. BRH are observing a shift in consumer as they moved from primarily business customers to leisure customers and appealing to new market segments is an extension strategy which businesses may use to try and prolong the product falling into decline. This is why I set one of our objectives to introduce sustainable practices into the business’ different locations as I think this will appeal to a new segment of more environmentally conscious people. Without strategic adaptations like this, BRH risks falling into the decline stage which would make it very difficult for them to increase the numbers of their bookings and increase their market share. is this ok?

Not sure you gain anything by drawing the graph. Just pick out the evidence of what stage the product / industry is at. Then link that to explain how it affects your chosen objectives and marketing mix

the example my teacher gave us basically said that the business is impacted by both the internal and external environment as observed by the justification and then give examples of how they can change the internal business to help their strengths and weakness and prepare for what could effect them in the external environment ie. opportunities and threats.

Exactly. As long as you use some vaslid evidence to support your use of the PLC, you can't be marked down
