It would have much better to see 1) what you are doing with your foot each time that makes it take the various actions on the fabric, and 2) what settings you have them set at, and how to change each one, on the little box on the top, the CP 160.

If it's like the motor for the 8700 there's a dial on the motor facing you when you look under at it. Will limit max speed
