Thank you so much for explaining the difference between the 2 techniques. You have a gift to teach! I could easily follow what you were doing. Keep up the great work!

Thank you for showing us how to do BOTH at the same time.. the colors are more vibrant and the design, more clear when both techniques are combined. I didn’t know that it was possible to combine the techniques, haha, though, of course that makes sense. :)

I wrap the excess 3/4ish of yarn around my hand and then the last wee 1/4(ish) bit I go around the middle of the loop I just made (I guess it kinda looks like a bow), then I use a jumbo stitch marker & go thru the middle wrapped yarn & one side of loops (so it doesn't unravel) & then use the stitch marker to attach it to the crochet already made so it's not flopping about or dangling in the way :)

I found my grandma's old perm rods the ones with the elastic cord that plugs in other side and wrap my yarn around it works great never falls apart and good hold and you can hook it to the project as well with the plug on end. Anyone use them?

Really pretty. You probably have yarn color listed I just want to be sure what's used and how much for this lovely pattern. Are you working in the front or back? Also is the patter a blanket?
@MeghanMakesDo Жыл бұрын
Hi Cindy, the yarn I used is comfy cotton from WeCrochet. I'll add a link to it in the description for you. I'll look up the exact colors as well and list them there too. The pattern is linked in the description. It's a little carry all bag.

What yarn are you using? It looks better than what use.. That yarn is perfect even to use for a design rug..

How about when it is round?
@MeghanMakesDo2 жыл бұрын
If working in the round I recommend only using the tapestry crochet technique and carrying all colors as you go. You can also float the yarns in the back of the piece if you don't mind the wrong side having strands of yarn showing.
