This is exactly what I was looking for. It showed me where I went wrong in the installation process. You are a genius. Thanks to you I can truly work from home and save myself the unnecessary traveling.

Thanks for the information, but I need help on how to do one time password from the remote computer, so that the guest computer we not be asking for password anytime he or she want to access the computer
@TwinBytesInc9 ай бұрын
If you need unattended access, that is something that can be turned on with a unique password that doesn't keep changing. I don't offer step by step support in comments but I do offer quick replies that are sometimes helpful.

...Do both parties have to have an account and sign in? ....or does the person to control another pc, have to sigh in with account. ...and does person giving access to their computer have to have teamview account? ..or not necessary? ......Thank you
@TwinBytesInc4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your question. No one needs an account or to sign in for this to work. Only to be licensed, if for extended use, then you would purchase a license. If you are connecting to your own computer, you have your license cover both computers. If you are connecting to others various computers, they don't need a license, only you do. Hope that helps.

When I remote connect from my laptop to someone else’s laptop in my house (the other laptop isn’t signed into my Microsoft account), are they supposed to have that menu on the lower right corner like the person assisting them has? My lower right corner menu is dark while their’s is bright. Are all of these glitches?
@TwinBytesInc4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your question. It's a different computer, so it can have totally different settings. They don't have to be the same as yours.
@This_Drummer4 жыл бұрын
You’re welcome. Would it be that way too for someone else who’s not connected to the same network? And in both menus it only shows my ID and not the person I’m assisting’s ID. I’m using the free version for personal use, by the way.

Thank you for simpel instructions. Do anybody know why I get timeout when I use Teamviewer (I even have a commercial license)? Think it is called automatic timeout ?? rather annoying
@TwinBytesInc3 жыл бұрын
Thank you and you're welcome. Try these instructions I found: Open up Menu > Options > Advanced > Advanced settings for connections to other computers. Select a time period after which an outgoing remote control session is automatically terminated if there is no interaction in the defined period.

Nice video! 😎 Does getting a license give you more features to use or are they all the same as the free version?
@TwinBytesInc4 жыл бұрын
Thank you. Great question. They really don't give you a comparison of FREE to paid versions, but this link provides a comparison of the various paid levels. So you do get more features with some paid versions at least but the basic paid version is really forced on you if you are a business since free is for personal use only. www.teamviewer.com/en/buy-now/

You’re welcome. 😊 I see. What’s unattended access? I know it’s in the free version too.
@TwinBytesInc4 жыл бұрын
@@This_Drummer Unattended access means you can remote into that computer without anyone having to be there to give you a new code or click any buttons to allow you in.

If I allow someone to access my computer for a particular software ( say accounting), how do I ensure their access is only for this accounting software and not other info in my computer. thank you
@TwinBytesInc4 жыл бұрын
If you specify just that one software program, they wouldn't have access to anything else. Although, with that said, there are bugs in programs found all the time, so you'd have to trust who you are letting into your computer because if they really wanted to get access to your data, they would find a way around the security eventually.

Hi there, hoping you can help me. I am a Virtual Assistant and I will have access to a company computer using Team Viewer. Because that company already pays for it, does that mean that I have to, as well? Thanks.
@TwinBytesInc3 жыл бұрын
Hi Dolores. Thanks for your question. If you are using their account you don't have to pay. If you are using a free account to connect to their paid account, it may eventually bug you to also get an account, but I haven't tried that method of connecting from a free to paid. usually it's the same account on both sides.

and what is the advantage of making an account for the user who is having his pc remoted into?
@TwinBytesInc2 жыл бұрын
You can add the PCs you remote into, on that account so they are in a menu to choose from instead of having codes for each one to remember. If you only have one account you won't see that benefit. There maybe other benefits I don't think of right now but with the free account, that's the main thing.

Do I have to manually input my login codes everytime?

Can you use team view while onvue
@TwinBytesInc3 жыл бұрын
You should be able to use Team Viewer with anything. It just allows you to share your screen regardless what you are doing on the computer.

Yeah I remember someone with Bank of America Remote check deposits asking me to install this. And now I wonder why my bank accounts are drained.. Cant find payments, files, pictures. Thanks TeamViewer! No wonder employees at an actual bank run, because they don't have any records of those deposits. Don't forget to go GREEN!!! (and sign up for paperless statements) So there is no evidence left, because of course we don't send you those statements! And of course we can edit all your files. so if you think you didn't get paid for something, we shall log it in as paid! Or is this part of TMS?
@TwinBytesInc3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment. Teamviewer is just a tool. Anyone can use it for any purposes, both good and evil. It's up to you, the person allowing access into your computer, to know who is going in your computer and why. I've never heard of a bank needing access remotely into anyone's computer before. You have to be careful, so many scammers out there.

Hi John, This is an unrelated question and I am not an expert in marketing or book publishing. I didn't even publish my first book properly. So I'm still learning and can't contribute to your inquiry. Sorry.
