How to use Tesla’s Autopark feature

So I have FSD and Auto park is far from perfect as some of the comments mentions that it’s rarely available and when it does detect an open parking spot it only does it on the passenger side which is annoying to say the least, and the other thing is when the parking ICON appears and your car is stopped and in a hole position, there's no need to press the P ICON and no need to have your foot on the brake, simply shift to reverse and it should start the process of parking itself!

You can also put the car in reverse and bypass pushing the P on the screen. FYI.

When I hear autopark I think, get out at the entrance and it goes and parks. Not I drive around and find my parking spot, get in position, then the car backs up for me. 🤷‍♂️

My M3 rarely detects spaces on the driver's side. Is there an optimum distance and speed away from the parking space?

One possible thing, May want to ensure all the cameras are clean, no obstructions. Dirt and bug guts could affect some of the autopilot features.

I clean my car regularly and it's garaged between use. The only spaces it detects is on the passenger side.
