When doing laser engraving on painted steel sheets what settings works best? I have been doing dark colors to light colors then the black top coat. For example dark red white then black. Am I doing this wrong? Should I be doing white, red then black?

What material setting would be best for engraving on High Gloss Black Marble material. I don't see it listed and it engraves differently then Black Slate.

Thank you :) For the adblocker: Click on the adblocker and select : except for this site or something like this, this should fix the issue. Offline no internet is needed, online get faster updates. Also offline is mostly faster than online, depends on your pc :) You can use offline on 3 devices at the same time :) For more information check on design-gecko.com

No idea what you mean. If you ever read the imagR group posts you would know, that offline come 1-2 weeks after online.

@@ImagR-Laser Well let me help you. First of all you never asked what I meant, just condescending and snotty remarks. Second of all, "if I would read the posts?" Let me help you with that question. You see, I work 60 to 80 hours a week plus other things I am involved in. Frankly I don't have time to read posts! This for your information is why I chose to pay you to use your product. When I use this awesome product I don't want to have to be "online" and deal with ads. So, with that being said typically any new improvements in software are usually pushed out to the paying customers before giving it to the free site. 🤔 That's it! Just a question, but I got more from you than I bargained for. Maybe someday I will be able to read the posts but probably not. I try to watch the nice videos about the program.

Before purchasing, I read that the online version was the way to go, by the general consensus. That's why I went with and paid for the online version, as well as being less expensive, the updates happen right away.

@@kevinjones6924 I just bought it for second year and no updates. I have to use the web version to use additions. Not a big deal. Like the program and have no problem. Just thought it was odd the "free" version gets the new additions first. They even said it will take a couple weeks before it's pushed out to us that pay.

@@driegler01 I am not really sure what you meant with „second year, no update“. The latest update was on November 22nd, 2021. you can check for updates on imag-r.com/downloads. Also, the only things that are missing are gamma adjustment and denoise. All other functions are in the offline version as well. The online version gets the updates faster, so we have a test audience, before we implement and compile a new offline version.
