Provost 2 replaced Provost 1, as there are no Provost 1’s in production by AOT. So considering one cannot get one… no it’s not recommended

Hey! It’s not so much about preference but compatibility with the shisha tobacco brand you’re using. I’ve categorized brands as Beginner and Performance, and these can be either blonde or dark. In general, Beginner Tier shisha tobacco is best with the Kaloud Lotus 1+, where Performance Tier shisha are best with the Provost. Other HMDs currently on the market don’t outperform either of these so there’s no point to mention them. However, There’s something new coming to the scene pretty soon and it’s something special

@@DansWorld_94 well I mean with a little guidance and practice foiling becomes a complete non-issue. For example it takes me literally 5 seconds to foil and poke a bowl. It’s merely part of the process. Now, for Performance tier brands such as Trifecta (blonde&dark), Haze, Tangiers, Must Have - Provost takes these to their full potential. For Beginner tier brands such as Starbuzz, Chaos and similar then Lotus takes these to their full potential. It’s really about how much of the quality of the session you want to let go of in order to remove the foiling process altogether. If you prioritize the session, those few seconds it takes to foil is a blink of an eye; if you prioritize your personal convenience and don’t mind lower flavor potency and potentially shorter sessions (w Performance brands) then go for that
