With the aroon, upswing works better when the price is above Moving average and downswing works better when the price is below Moving average. The MA can vary depending on the duration of the hold. For 5 min candles I is use 65 EMA. For 1 minute candles I use 200 EMA. I do not trade long term because I mostly trade in Index options..This works very very well in conjunction with Elder ray. If anyone disagrees or can better it please let me know. Thnx
