For selecting both the boulders to replace the blocks, instead of box selecting, you can switch magic select to comparing "Any" instead of comparing "Block", which will be much faster at selecting the boulders. Great tutorial though, didn't understand the gradient tool until I watched this :)

A huge missed opportunity that there isn't a setting in the "noise" brush to make it not as a pattern, but as a percentage, and choose the block palette that you want, and how often would those blocks show up. This seems to be one of the few tools that WorldEdit has that Axiom doesn't, and to me personally, it would be much more useful than gradients.

thanks for the tutorial this was super helpful!! i've been fascinated by axiom, but in using it i keep feeling like it's somehow 'cheating' and that i'm not actually making the builds i make using the mod. this isn't necessarily a critique but more something that my brain is nagging me about. what do you think about this?

I understand how you feel, but I think there's no such thing as "Cheating" in Minecraft. It is a sandbox game after all and you can play it as you like it the most. So I would say that as long as you find that Axiom helps you create the builds that you want to create, then just go for it! Hope this helps! :D
