Thanks a bunch for this just bought my very first BMW 1 series E87 (166i) 2006 looked for info on how to use the onboard computer but glad uve sorted it all out. Maybe more videos on it I’m future 😊. Great work been watching and following every single video it’s helped give more insight into my new car can’t wait to drive it this Friday so pumped and excited. Cheers

@@drivelife.channel hey just recently got a 2008 325i e91 and it has Idrive but just wondering if yours had a cruise control stroke or not because mine doesnt it like it's a per facelift and face lift model at the same time tho don't know if Idrive was a option for pre 08 or not 🤷

I have an e83 on a bmw 2008 x3 3.0i suv and there is no toggle or up button on the left indicator stalk. Only the bc button is there. How do I access the on-board computer on this bmw model? Thanks.

What if the dc button doesn't work when I press the toggle switch up and down it won't let me go to any settings I can only change the clock settings how do I fix that so I can go through my menu options for my BMW 2006 325xi

Does anyone know how I can set that little display to show more than one info at a time. My 2009 E92 shows odometer but if I want to switch to range, it will only show range, or only show fuel consumption, or only show average speed. It's a bit annoying as my 2010 E90 showed more info at the same time.

Great again just a question I think my odometer/tripmeter is going up a bit fast? Is this normal? Eidt: and my air contion takes time to blow warm why?

The odometer mah be going up quickly because the wheels or tyres my be non standard :) There could be an issue with the heater or it may be that it just takes a while to warm up :)

I have original winter tires and wheel its says BMW on them but nothing dangerous if the counter goes up a little fast should you do something about it?​@@drivelife.channel

It may be that the winter tyres are slightly different in diameter to the standard tyres which means the wheels will turn faster, nothing to worry about at all:)

@@Data4664 Potentially, BMW use a capacitor on the aux input to preserve the life of the amplifier :)

Why do you have the MM/DD set like it’s the U.S.? Makes my OCD go mad Also if you have changed the brake fluid you can reset it by holding the BC button as well you don’t need Carly or anything just do it yourself

Didnt even notice that it was 😂😂 the date on the service interval is incorrect so I'm just waiting to order the parts to change the fluid as it's coming for doing again soon :)
