Hello, the Multi Colour Cartridge is just for designing Skip Stitch and double bed Jacquard patterns in up to 4 colours and up to 3 colours in a row. It doesn’t have any patterns pre loaded, other than the Stitch World books, which you can use with your own patterns. The Cartridge iii is also for designing your own patterns but for standard patterns, like Tuck, FairIsle, etc. The manual for the colour cartridge can be found here. www.cb-2.nl/download/How%20to%20use%20Multi-Colour%20Cartridge.pdf Cartridge iii came with the PPD-120 and you can find the manual for that, here, which may help you understand how the cartridge works. mkmanuals.com/brother-ppd120-patterning-device-user-guide.html

Hi, sorry, I am afraid I can only find the 965i manual available in English but the 965 manual is available in English, Russian, Danish and French. I am not sure if that helps? mkmanuals.com/brother-kh965-user-guide.html

You say the pattern is transferred… do you mean copied to the machine, or removed from the cartridge and put to the machine? I hope it is first option…
