Nice tutorial, I just bought the 72 cell kit and started reading reviews on it (should have read reviews first I suppose!). Was very disappointed with the amount of negative feedback. Seems many of the pellets did not absorb the water and expand, complaints of white mold on the surface of the soil, etc.I was ready to take it back for a refund until I decided to youtube it and get some info. I'm guessing most customers did not read the instructions properly and I am sure your video will make set up much easier. I also read a tip that the water should be warm when pouring on the pellets. Thanks again for your video, looking forward to a successful germination now!

bootlegger2750 thank you so much for taking the time to comment! We’re so glad to hear it has helped you! There are some pellets that are a little more stubborn than others, and all it requires is another run of water 🙂 I take a lot of people reviewing with a grain of salt. Let us know how your germination and little ones get in a few days!

Thank you for the video. The instructions on the back of the box didn’t mention almost any of this. I set up my box COMPLETELY wrong. So when I get back home I’ll definitely have to fix that. And I learned the hard way about the pellets. I have the 72 cell one and at first I was like “oh let me fix these right side up” but then my helper came out with the warm water and wanted to start so she poured the water over the cells and about 10 seconds later we learned the error of our ways and half expanded so terribly we spent 10-15 minutes just trying to get the pellets that expanded sideways to break apart with our fingers. (Not sure if our pack came with a wooden stick or not). I also stuck the watering tray on top of the soil and the dome on top of that 🤦🏻♀️. Again. Thanks for taking the time to explain all this properly. 😂
