Oh no! I really wish it was stated somewhere in the game saying that ya could. I personally didn't know either until I kept pestering them to see what would happen. Shweebe hi, I have a empty house plot and I’m saving it for my friends Raymond to move in. But what if someone is in the campsite and I don’t want them to move in? Do I just not talk to them? Or do they move in no matter what?

If you're not interested in them just ignore them. They'll only move in if you pester them and play their games. HOWEVER if they are your first camper ever, then you will have to move them in as they are considered part of the 'tutorial' for the game. Also if you do have an empty plot of land I suggest you fill it soon or Tom will take it upon himself to fill it for you. He's a bit of jerk like that. Hope that clears everything up and congrats on getting Raymond!

@@hammaad536 From what I've seen, it can be anywhere from a day to a week. It varies every time. So if you're trying to fill it do it as soon as possible. But if you're lucky he'll give you a couple a days.

Just want to made some clarifications for people: 1. The tenth villager does not include yourself which I spent months not knowing. I figured out that when you talk to Tom Nook you have to choose the option "sell some land" and he'll give you the housing kit for the tenth one and then you can get your campsite villager! 2. If your camper says they DON'T want to move in, keeping talking to them because they'll eventually realize how badly you want them and they'll give in. It'll take quite a few tries and some repeated dialogue, but just keep talking to them over and over again.

That means you still need to buy a lot from Tom Nook. You can have a max of 10 animal villagers and 4 human villagers. Try that and let me know how it goes!

Sounds like he's pulling the same crap Muffy did to me. You may have to keep at it, but if it's still giving you a hard time exit your game, go back in and try again. I've to do that with a couple villagers myself until they eventually decided that they wanted to even consider moving in. Hope this helps!

Talk to Tom nook, select the “ Let’s talk infrastructure “ option and there should be an option to sell land, then u put up the plot of land anywhere u want so that a villager can buy the plot of land and move in

My problem is that they don’t suggest someone to leave and now he is stuck in the same cycle of « oh village is full can’t move in » Edit: i saw some responses. My gate is closed and he went to the resident services. I also bought and placed all lits with villagers already living.

Omg!!! Thank u so much for this video. Skye had came to my campsite today and I was like omg awww she is just too cute and I love her. I had to convince her millions of times to convince her to move. This is the first time that this happened to me, lol 😂😂😂 I was so confused at first until I came across your video. Your video helped me, and helped give me more confidence in convincing her to stay. Btw ik see why her name is sky. Her fur is the color of the skye and her personality is as changing as the sky is. What makes her look cuter is that she wears pink eyeshadow and her fur is outlined with pink. At first I kept calling her Audie until I finally got it right. Ok point is, I love skye. i actually want to cry i had marshal in my campsite and there was an option to ask him to move in and i got really excited but then he said his other home was better 😭 i didn’t know you had to have plots for them to move in :((( marshal is literally one of my dream villagers. maybe i’ll go villager hunting with some tickets but i still don’t know how to do that. UPDATE: i have played the game more now and have found marshal in only four tickets! yay!

hi! you don’t have to have an open plot for them to move in, if you have all 10 plots with 10 villagers you just need to keep asking till they finally say it can take a bit but it definitely works i’ve done it! and to hunt you need to buy nook mile tickets from the stand in resident services then take it to the airport BUT to hunt with tickets you do have to have an open plot

If Raymond is saying that you should still have a plot of land for sale. The max is 10 animals and 4 human houses. Also make sure your gate at Dodo airlines is closed. Hope this helps! 😁

If your auto save feature has already gone off then sadly Raymond will continue to ask to switch with Erik everytime. If not try exiting the game and see if he changes his request. If not there are plenty of players in the ACNH community that could be trading Erik for somethings. Hope this info. helps. 🙂

Hey I need help. So there is a villager in my campsite and ive been doing this for over an hour, trying to get hin to replace the villager i want. But everytimr it's the same villager, one i dont want to move out. I've tried about 6 times but still nothing. Do you know what's going on?

So Nintendo unfortunately has what has been dubbed as a lock-in feature you can reroll the characters but if the auto save goes off and they're in the middle of suggesting a character it will be that same character over and over again so unfortunately you're best bet is to try with the next camper that comes through and do the process as quickly as possible I did actually cover a video on how to re-roll villagers but it's honestly just getting lucky and being faster than Nintendo's Auto safe feature hope that helps 😓

i just got shino on my campsite this morning and then they didnt want to move in and i was scared to lose them so i closed and opened the game another two times and i guessed the correct card first try and shino moved into my last available plot, and i couldn't be happier ! 🥳

I kinda wanna share out my story about my animal crossing experience so here it goes So basically when I first got animal crossing I was excited to build my own town, but during the process my friend told me I screw up to many time in my island. At first I didn’t care, but I realized I screw to many times to the point I’m willing to restart my game. There is no 'screwing up' in Animal Crossing. Each island is designed by the creator with the vision that they have in mind. There is no right or wrong way to play it. So long as you're having fun that's what matters most. =)

Have you checked with Nook? They shouldn't be giving you this hard of a time. There is a weird Villager glitch going around as well so just be mindful of that fingers crossed that's not the case though!! 💚🤞

I think that might actually be the case. Cause when they're in boxes 'transitioning' they're practically untouchable. (from my experiences) You'll most likey have to have the visitor pick someone else OR keep trying and see if he'll eventually pick Axel. But for all the times I've done it they never pick a person in boxes. Sorry it's a kinda vague answer but I hope it helps. :/

You got to keep at it, and some in cases you might be sitting there for a few minutes to a few hours. These villagers are just notoriously stubborn, just keep at it, keep playing their silly games and keep talking to them. They will eventually say yes. Best of luck!

Go check with Tom Nook and see if you might have some event that you need to do with him. Also make sure that your gates are closed. Past that keep talking to her, often times the villagers are just very stubborn and it might take them a while until they come around to the idea of moving in. Don't give up!

Crap! That means Nintendo's wonderful auto-save feature has locked in Apple and it can't be undone. -_-* I really wish there was an easier way of doing this. I finally got Marshal in my campsite but he keeps asking if Canberra can move out, but she’s one of my first residents and I love her too much :( Even if you invite them back with an amiibo, sadly they won’t remember you. That sucks, I hate Nintendo's autosave feature. I really wish they would just let you pick who stays and who goes. What I have found though is after seeing a villager once you are more likely to see them again, so keep island-hopping and keep checking your campsite. You'll come across Marshall again. =)

If you don't have the max amount of villagers the camper will just fill in any open spots. No swapping will happen until you have all 10 lots. Hope this helps!

There's always a chance! Just keep talking to him. He might reject you again, or play some games with you. Even if you lose you still can get him to move in. Just keep talking to him till he brings up the idea of moving in. Hope this helps!

As soon as the dialogue pops up for which character they want to switch with shows, that's when you close the game. When you go back in they should be mentioning another character's name. Re-roll as soon as they say the person if it's not someone you want to move out. This has been suggested since the auto save feature happens so frequently. 3geodudes video explains this a bit. From what I've noticed is if you've seen a villager once, whether island hopping or at campsite, you have a chance of seeing them again. I've seen several villagers multiple times. In order to be able to pick who your camper can swap places with you have to buy amiibos with real money. That's the only way you can do it and Nintendo did this on purpose. 😒

Just keep talking to her, make sure your gates are closed and you don't have any more plots to buy from Nook. If you don't care about Time Traveling, just push your clock back in the game when you get up so you don't miss out on her. Best of luck!

That means that Nintendo's auto save has beat you to the punch so the only person Raymond will switch out with now is Merengue, unfortunately. Ok, so I just got Monique, and really want her. She has spoken to residential services and they said no. Didn’t even offer to swop places with anyone. Now she keeps saying the same dialogue, ‘it’s hard to believe that there’s no plot of land available, etc.’ Gate is closed and we’ve played 3 games, which I’ve lost two. She isn’t even offering games any more. Do you have any advice, perhaps?👍🏻👍🏻

IN that case double check with Tom Nook, might be something you have to finish up with him. Try exiting the game and going back in just to be on the safe side. Normally if they say 'no plot of land available' it immediately goes into the dialogue of them asking to talk with one of the other villagers. Keep me updated on what happens with this! Shweebe ok, so I was just stupid and have been playing this game for 3 months without realizing that I had one more plot of land..😅😂 (and i was thinking why I have still not gotten 5 stars.🤣) Thank you for the help. Monique is now part of my island, thanks to you!☺️

There's 400+ villagers that the game can throw at ya. Eventually they'll give ya a good one. But they sure are stingy about it.

Shweebe I have a unrelated question. So I ended up getting stitches, following ur method (thanks btw) but I also time skipped. I wanna go back to the date I am rn, and if I do.. will I loose all my progress made from time skipping? I don’t want to loose stitches. Pls answer

Make sure Stitches is fully moved in before you time travel. I've found you risk potentially glitching a lot if you time travel backwards while someone is still moving in. If they at least have their home up, while they're unpacking it's fine. Hope this helps! 💚💚💚
