You're welcome! I'm glad the video helped. :) I was also VERY distracted with just turning knobs and messing around for a while. I still get lost doing that.

Both videos are great man you sold me on this pedal. I know I am late to the game but I recently started exploring the dipswitches on all my CBA pedals and man I truly now understand the genius of CBA now??

Yeah! They really open up a whole new world of sonic possibilities.

Great video! How much time can you record on the looper? Is it seconds, minutes? Thank you.
@kevwyxin Жыл бұрын
Seconds. I believe the longest is somewhere around 20-30 seconds but the sample rate is pretty low to record that long.

I thought that the dip switches were more than just ramping on this pedal... the effects sound very different depending on how you have the dip switches set up

Great video, how long does mood sample forv
@kevwyxin2 жыл бұрын
Up to 16 seconds, but the fidelity lowers as you get longer sampling times.

I see you also have a Jhs lucky cat, how would you say the delay of the mood compares to the lucky cat?
@kevwyxin4 жыл бұрын
They are totally different. Sometimes I prefer the Lucky Cat, sometimes the Mood. Sometimes I like to use both! It’s hard to explain without too many words, but they are just very different animals in my opinion.

Can i use the mood as a normal looper?
@kevwyxin2 жыл бұрын
Sort of…but not really…if you set the micro-looping side on the right to tape mode it will act similar to a normal looper without overdub capabilities. The length of the loop is based on the clock. I believe the manual shows exactly how long the loop will be per each clock setting.

Part 2 is coming! It might be after the holidays though...we will see. I have a handful of other pedals to do first.
@sixtomcready35143 жыл бұрын
Do you think this pedal could kinda mimic the belle epoch?
@kevwyxin3 жыл бұрын
TL;DR - 🤷♂️ I don’t know much about the Belle epoch. With just some quick research they seem pretty different at first blush. Mood is more about granular synthesis and a crazy delay being smashed together. Belle epoch seems to be more focused on an accurate tape delay. You might be able to get some sounds like the Belle epoch out of the mood but that’s just because it’s got a delay function that I think is pretty customizable in terms of tone and vibe because of the clock.

This would have been helpful, except you decided to make the pedal very tiny in the shot, instead deciding to showcase carpet. I can’t see the controls at all (which is kind of important). So I moved on. Zoom in on the pedal, dude.
