Always bang your milk jug a couple of times after steaming to get all the froth to the top so when you pour the froth is going to come out last and sit on top of your cappuccino!

This is my 2nd Keurig coffee maker of this model. kzbin.infoUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf The first worked fine for more than 2 years, and I could still get a decent cup of coffee out of it if I fiddled with it when I decided to replace it. The problem I had with my first unit was this: When attempting to brew a cup of coffee, the unit would either keep brewing until the coffee was undrinkable or it would not run long enough and the coffee produced was way too strong. I cleaned the unit as best I could but it did not help. So in the end it was just too much trouble to get a good cup of coffee out of it, so I decided to replace it with a new one, which has been working great since I unpacked it.

Why does the coffee machine waste water before pouring a cup of coffee? Can that be stopped? I have the machines and find this feature water wasting and wastes time imo

You mean when you turn the machine on? The water thats running through the machine is for cleaning the system after its being on or off.

Flushes through water to clear oils, fines etc. Stops you from having stale or bitter coffee.

Your output looks way too watery!! Try dosage dial at 80%, grind on setting 2 or 3 out of 13, yield at 25ml for single shot 50ml double shot (use scales to measure output).

This is a dreadful machine. After less than 1 year my wife and I were woken at 4am to a terrible noise in our house. Our Delonghi Magnifica Smart machine was making a horrible loud noise and there was also a dreadful smell of burnt plastic. The machine had been in standby mode and somehow ground all the coffee beans and continued trying to grind beans that were not there. All the ground coffee was dumped to the bottom of the machine. Delonghi Spain are doing nothing to repair the machine that costs almost 400 euros. Terrible customer support and the repair company also ignores all contact. DO NOT BUY DELONGHI. THEY'RE UNRELIABLE AND THEY DON'T CARE WHEN IT'S FAULTY. They don't respect the warranty.

When dealing with warranty always turn to the shop that sold it. And a safety tip in general, never have electrical devices on standby, a huge cause to house fires..

@@RVRCloset this is the only machine we have ever left on standby. Unfortunately, you lose all your coffee settings with this machine when it's turned off. Returning to the shop doesn't work well where I live. The machine was collected on 28 June and I'm still waiting for it to be returned!

The sound is like you are talking into a bucket. Had to change to someone else.

Wouldn’t use the coffee mode on this. Better to do an espresso then add hot water yourself. Otherwise it really over extracts the grounds.
