I’ve had problems playing lockdown because I always have a reaction to extend once I get it in place, this video really opened my eyes to lockdown. Going to implement what I just watched next class. This white belt appreciates this!

Always been a fan of Eddie's system, but your teaching skills bring it all to a new level. Those details are brilliant. I've been hitting the ham sandwich all over the place, and I'm excited to add this into the arsenal as well.

I was rolling with my purple belt buddy last Sunday, who locked up my right knee exactly like you show here. I had that knee repaired 2 years ago from a torn ACL & meniscus. I tapped even before the pressure became more forceful, and he was like, “I’m so sorry, I completely forgot about your knee!” I was like, “No worries, I’ll tap faster than quicksilver whenever that knee is involved in ANYthing!” 😊😄😄

BMac please extract the clip at 7:37 for a short on staying safe when defending the electric chair inside lockdown. This is literally one of the most important and spot on pieces of information you’ve ever provided and man you’ve provided some great stuff! (When we were 1st learning electric chair and we didn’t realize the amount of torque being generated in precisely the spot you pointed out, I blew out my training partner’s ACL. Clean break. Out for almost 1 yr. and neither of us knew any better. Adding insult to injury literally, I saw this video for the 1st time a few weeks after the incident).

Hola Brandon !!!

Once again i gotta say i appreciate the content you put out so much you're the one solid source of rubberguard info i can get my hands on for free as i cant really afford to pay, im the only person who plays any rubberguard in my gym (the instructor is very traditional and not too fond of the whole 10th planet system or Mr.Bravo himself) the nearest 10th planet gym is over an hour away and the price is a little more than what i pay at my gym so you really are a blessing on this platform, you're so great at breaking things down to its simplest forms its always very easy to understand what you are laying out in each instructortional, so Thanks a millon

Hi Brandon thanks for sharing. I really appreciate your videos. I'm a six-month white belt and I try to figure out some details body mechanics. In this move, while being under, in half guard, you inverted your legs to trap Denis' : does that mean if you don't you won't be able to roll him over you the way you do to get to the electric chair ?

I feel like this works super well with similar weight, but it's hard to dip sit from side to side once the guy gets a certain level of weight advantage.

You can never FORCE any escape to work. If the moment is not right, that means another escape is gonna be easier. That’s true in any position you find yourself stuck in. Trying to force your “favorite” escape is the best way to get exhausted and/or submitted

It can be difficult when you’re new to it, or if the guy is shutting you down and trying to force you to a different game. Play back and forth with your butterfly guard. Gotta have the butterfly hooks leveled up as high as possible
