Another note about Ender chests on multiplayer: it's not just an ATM, it's a vault too. Especially on less organised servers, thieving and griefing can't happen to anything inside there, since no one can access your Ender chest.
@CZghost Жыл бұрын
With the exclusion of players with the permissions to look into ender chests of other players. But first of all, that's not vanilla, that actually is something that is supported by Bukkit servers, but not accessible in pure server, you need to install a plugin for it that implements it (like CMI), and this permission is often given to administrators and moderators/helpers. Those players however can mostly be trusted they won't abuse this power to steal from ender chests. The thieving aspect is especially problematic, because ender chest can be your saviour for protecting your items from stealing, but this is exactly what a thief can do to protect their loot (items they stole). And all it takes for the thief is to simply steal the item, put it in their ender chest and even after killing them, you won't be able to retrieve the stolen item. You won't find the item in any regular chest, or barrel, or any kind of container. Ender chest is pretty much a virtual vault. What the permission to access ender chests of other players is intended for is exactly this scenario. Somebody steals something of yours, puts it in their ender chest, and then claim they didn't even steal anything. Admin can simply just log on, gather more informations and evidence, ban the thief, and even if the player is offline, an admin can access the player's inventory and their ender chest. Which is very convenient. But this isn't possible on a vanilla server.

Thing to notice here. At around 14:10 pic doesn't put his shield up by himself, it happened on its own. This is a glitch that can be used to your advantage. When switching dimensions using a nether portal, if you keep your shield held up till the "loading terrain" screen shows up, you will block any attacks that can be blo ked by a shield as long as you don't right click again, as that will fix the glitch. Focused on building exclusively with blocks I had easy access to for those 500+ days, so I didn't need to explore much. 10:55 I recommend using a fortune 3 shovel. Mining down low and finding gravel gives you an instantly mineable block for uncovering reduced air exposure ores. Diamonds and ancient debris are the obvious motivator. Now after digging up 5 gravel blobs underground you'll have like 7 stacks of flint that are easily sold to a fletcher, leather workers or to tool smith's (don't recommend tool smith's because they want 30 instead of 26 flint for an emerald) I use this strategy all the time when I'm mining late game just do it It's worth it.

One useful thing I do at this point in the game is when I mind I use the Silk touch pickaxe since I'm getting extra drops off the fortune one it takes up more inventory slots but if I just take the block it saves space. I can always lay them down back at my base and use fortune on them there

I personally prefer the Smite enchantment over Sharpness. • According to gut feeling, *87% of all attackers* in the Minecraft world *are always undead.* • Against _Creepers_ & _Enderman,_ the _Axe_ makes more sense, if only for the way you approach these challengers: While the _Axe_ has _less damage per second_ than the sword, it does *more damage in a single hit.* *Perfect for fighting Creepers.* In addition, the enchantment *Sharpness V,* which can only be applied to the Axe with the help of _Enchanted Books,_ *also fits on the axe.* • Finally, in the Nether, a _Diamond Sword,_ with _Smite V_ enchantment, can take down a _Zombiefied Piglin_ with just one single crithit (jump up, then hit while you fall back down again). As a result, this _Zombiefied Piglin_ cannot spread its aggression, and you remain safe.
@Pixlriffs Жыл бұрын
The problem I usually find with this argument is that it always assumes the reason you’re fighting mobs is to deal with a threat. I prefer a more versatile sword because I’m often interested in acquiring mob drops, and Looting is a sword exclusive enchantment.

To build off the sidenote from the end of the episode (although not relevant until you actually go to the End), honestly the best part of being able to swap armor items in the hotbar is being able to swap your chestplate and elytra with a single click. I honestly think with this ability it can be worth keeping your chestplate in your inventory once you have elytra if you go caving, etc. to save yourself from a potentially sticky situation, or to keep your chestplate on with elytra in the hotbar in case you take a wrong step and fall into a one block gap. For so long in minecraft having an elytra basically meant giving up an armor slot, but if you're clever about it you can almost get the best of both worlds.

As someone who uses the Ender chest to exclusively hold valuables, the idea of using one to help mine was always novel. And with the trade for Ender pearls on cleric villagers, now, I guess they really are early-game tools for inventory management. But that compact extra storage is super helpful even if you have shulker boxes or bundles. As a bonus, since Ender chets stack to sixteen is that you can stuff one into a bundle without issues. That does require you to enable the Experimental features, which are basically just bundles at this point.

I have now moved to 1.20.1, and I've noticed recently that the farm is not as lucrative after AFK sessions now as it has been in previous versions. I've changed a few things now that I've updated the world - moved it from a server to my own pc, changed my mod client, etc - but before I go exploring the effects of those I was wondering if you'd noticed reduced rates in that particular design yourself?
