Just got mine in the mail. I am wondering if I use size 11 delica's if that is considered part of the 11/0 on the tension rod set up? Can't wait to try it out thnx for the vid on how to!!

I think it is. However I used 4m beads as being bigger it was easier for me the first time I used it. I have done weaving before on my basic loom. Once you have done it then I think it will be a lot easier to use whatever size or design you want to do. I'm going to have a go at a necklace or belt length next so that should be interesting.

Interesting approach to a loom. Seems like the setup is much more complicated than a traditional loom I'm not sure (perhaps just the example or the type of beads used) that the ends of the loom project seem as crisp (the bits next to the clasp) as with a traditional loom. I'm interested to see how the second generation of this loom is modified. I do agree with the other commenters that the details were very well covered and clearly explained.

+Monique DC setup for this loom is different simply because you are adding the clasp at the beginning instead of the end (as with all other looms), and adding a clasp takes time.. The fastest loom for setup in our experience is the Ricks beading loom.

Once you have done it you will see its much easier. What I really liked though was on my ''normal'' loom all the threads I had to tie in. No matter how well I had made it, I seemed to end up with not such a neat finish. This one is great for that because its all done at the beginning. Once you have woven you just tie that one thread off and run it back through the beads to hide it VERY NEAT

I used bead tool 4 to make a pattern bracelet that was suppose to be 6.14" long and I used the tube closer, but I had to had 5 more rows to actually get to the end which ruined my pattern, I used the 7" size rods, Did I do something wrong or how do you figure the length a pattern has to be? I put a string around the endless loom and the string measured 7 1/2 inch long, is that right? Is it already allowing for a clasp? and how do you start if you want to add the clasp after its done?

I am still having trouble getting a bracelet to come out to the correct size, I finally just cut a dowel rod to 1 1/2 inch to make a 5 1/2 inch bracelet to actually get a 6 1/2 inch bracelet with clasp that would fit me but I needed to add a another bead or 2 to the clasp because now it was a pinch to small rather then being 1 1/2 inches to big. I don't think the endless loom counts the clasp I couldn't get it to come out and I tried several times.

We don't really recommend making loom projects with stretchy string. Better to have an adjustable clasp.

This loom is advertised to make a stretchy cuff bracelet. Yet you don't recommend it. It is the reason I bought the loom in the first place. No tutorials on how to make a stretchy bracelet that I can find. Too late to return the thing as well.

Use the instructions for not using a clasp have the two separate starter ends and connect for the stretchy it will make it a bangle style as far as the tension rods I have not seen what to use but trial and error practice makes perfect:) Hope it works out for you. I'm "guessing" its like any other bracelet you use stretchy cord or the Nozue thread on don't pull it overtight and let it rest afterwards.

Easiest to use endless stretch loom bands but sizes are limited to 6, 7 and 8" and only available in black and clear(ish). I am experimenting with using stretch elastic cut to size (with an overlap), adding a crimp that 2 strands will fit into then strand overlapped and glued together then crimped. Using a crimp cover to hide the join. Seems odd that the loom bands come in mixed size packs but there is not spacer rods for the 6" size.

Great tutorial! Does anyone have an idea how many beads it takes to make 4 rows, 8" bracelet??.. (seed beads, crystals, etc)?

It depends on size of beads I did an 8'' bracelet with 5 , 4mm beads per row. I counted 50 rows which equals 250 4m pony beads

Is the smallest size bracelet 7inches? My wrist is pretty small and would make a 6 inch bracelet. Why not add the new rods for a small wrist?

We agree that there should probably be a smaller size, but can't really control the contents since we do not manufacture this particular product. What you could do is take one of the sizes you are unlikely to use and simply cut them to a smaller length to use the size you prefer.

3mm cubes are matte met khaki iris, 8/0 demi rounds are dark olive I think, 8/0 seed bead is metallic lt bronze.jade Potomac Crystals 2x3mm, and the Czech 12mm bugle is crystal amber.

+Beaderest Person no, because what holds the tension on the ticks loom are the mandrels, around which the threads are looped.

Maybe it's just me but after watching just a few minutes of this video, I was a nervous wreck. The camera wasn't set up so that I could see exactly what you were talking about. And your instructions jumped all over the place. I do better when instructions have a beginning, middle and end--in that order. I'm too old for all of the jumping around stuff. I got to minute 13. Couldn't finish. Sorry. Just sayin'.

+pearl i loom projects are different from everything else, because you need to be able to see in detail, yet fit the loom within the frame. If we zoom out, then everyone else will complain they can't see. It's one of those types of bead work that is extremely difficult to record, so we do our best to walk a middle line.

The finish is better on this without all the threads to have to tie in like on other looms. Although I have not yet tried it, you can keep on going until you could have a belt or other longer pieces. You can't do that on the normal looms.

Have you ever watched your video? Most of the video is of your hand, with the bead/ loom work, just off camera! It is pointless to have a how-to video when the viewer can't see what you're doing. Also, if we could actually see what you're doing, you could go a LOT faster. This is so boring!
