Wow. Can't wait to get started. I make bracelets up to 3" wide with 10 or 11 Delica Myukis, and weaving 35 or more warp threads into the finished item at completion has been enough to make me want to quit!. Then, having to attach the clasp, after completing the warp finish sometimes making me just want to give up. I think I can handle the timely set-up to avoid all the finish weaving!

I’m really not sure why people are saying this loom looks over complicated, I’m guessing it’s because of all the work you do before you start actually putting beads on the loom itself, but I think they may be forgetting that the vast majority of the time all of that work just gets left until the end when you have to attach and tie off etc, it’s just all switched around and actually looks easier as you don’t have all these excess threads to tidy away. I’ve been looking to see what to buy, and after narrowing it down I’ve just bought this one due to this video (so sales strategies do work girls)😉 but I am going to buy the Jewel loom as well, as it’s super affordable and if I decide to stick with one I’ll sell the other, or I may like both, who knows. So thanks girls for another way of helping me part with my cash 🤗💎💸

I’m so happy I found this video. I bought an endless loom a while ago, and the printed instructions seem clear enough but I seem to learn best when someone is actually showing me a process. I did my first bracelet yesterday and I have to say that I was SO happy to get all the frustrating stuff out of the way so I could actually fully enjoy the weaving process without worrying about how I was going to finish it off!

Oh, Kat. I've always appreciated your videos. Instructions are clear and complete. Easy to follow.Your camerawork is awesome. But, I have to say I have an even greater appreciation for what you present to us. I just watched about 13 minutes of another company's video about this loom. I had to quit. They jumped all over the place. Camera was so close to the loom that I couldn't see what they were talking about. I know I probably should have just kept my mouth shut, but I fear that I'm getting too old to care. Thanks for all that you do!

Until your video I did not understand this loom. I'm not good at off-loom weaving but you made the square knot very easy to learn. I own the Rick and Jewel loom, but had a problem add clasps. Love this one since the clasp goes on first. You also sold me on this loom and I purchased one. Beadaholique had 20% off this loom this weekend. Can you make a necklace with this one?

I love how this loom works. I've done several pieces on it now but I do have one common problem. I'm using 11/0 delicas and D Nymo. Most of my designs are about 20 rows wide. When I get to the last loomed row, the starter piece is arched. The first and last couple of beads on the starter piece are touching the last loomed row but the center beads are still a row away, at least. And as hard as I try to keep all the tensions even, the starter pieces never mesh well with the loomed work.
@beadaholique
@beadaholique 6 жыл бұрын
Yes, my first thought was tension. Does it have any effect when you loosen the tension and let the piece relax a bit before completing it? The nymo can stretch a bit as you work.
@imbloodybonkers8798
@imbloodybonkers8798 6 жыл бұрын
I have tried, on each piece, to take it off the loom a couple of rows before reaching the end. Thanks so much for this video! That was a big tip :) The last 2 rows barely fit, even after relaxing and usually I have to leave a row out and really work with it to draw in the center. I wish I could post a pic here :( It was easy on my first couple of pieces to leave a row out as they were a solid color. But this last one was a pattern. Not a great finish. I've even tried working my 2 starter pieces without the clasp and doing the slip stitch to 'clasp' them just to try to make it curve less. It still pulled on the end I was working toward.

This seems like a pretty interesting loom...but I do have a few questions. I'm really new to the beading scene, but this particular loom is the kind where the measure of the bracelet is predetermined, no? So, then, how exactly do you measure out how much thread you need? Is it determined by the dowels you pick out at the very beginning? I'm sorry, but I feel a tiny bit lost on the measure bit. The actual process I'm getting, but the measure set up bit is what I'm a little lost at. The bracelet shown here that you've created seems to be about 7-8'', I think, or somewhere close to it at any rate. How would you measure it if you wanted to say make a longer or shorter bracelet? Switch out the dowels? This isn't totally related, but I have to ask: In you personal opinion, which do you prefer? I've watched another of your bead loom videos and the other one was a much different loom than this one and then I watched this one. So it got me thinking! ^_^'

Also, the smallest tension rod broke about 1" down. There was a flaw in the wood. Another issue is that the top and bottom parts are not aligned with each other.

@@beadaholique I know I have seen the inventor make a triple wrap bracelet on this loom, and I believe it was done with leather. She anchored it somehow (on one end, maybe?), and angled the cords diagonally so that they wrapped the loom three times, using the appropriate sizing rods for ~1/3 the length desired. She must have anchored the other end somehow as well (diagonally and 3 turns away from her starting loop closure). Knowing this could be done, and also seeing how easy it is to make stretch bracelets on this thing with the bands that are available, made me decide to get this loom....eventually! ;-)

I'd like to know how this loom can be used with a pattern? Since you add the clasp first, you need to know the final number of rows before starting your piece, so that the ends match. I guess you need to do a first piece like you did, without a pattern, with the same beads, and then you would be able to plan a pattern using the right number of rows.
@beadaholique
@beadaholique 7 жыл бұрын
You hit the nail on the head. That is exactly what I would do. The size will depend on the beads you use so I recommend using a sample piece to guide you.
@robinstumpp350
@robinstumpp350 7 жыл бұрын
If you measure the clasp when it's closed and subtract that from whatever size bracelet/spacer you are using then that will give you the length of the beaded section. Then you can use bead charts you can find on the internet to find out how many rows make up an inch in the size bead that you're using . Multiply those two numbers together and it will give you how many rows for the beaded portion.

Way to time consuming for me . You are unable to make a wrap bracelet using this. But good job in explaining how too use.

I hope this doesn't sound rude because it is not meant that way..but you really do not need a loom for this bracelet. I'm still having trouble getting on your website..it still says unsafe...which like I said before I have shopped there more times than I can count!! Thanks for sharing!

I suppose you're right, it doesn't strictly need a loom :) We do like to show as many different techniques and tools as we can though, showing techniques in slightly different variations is a good teaching tool. Everyone seems to learn these things a little differently, some want written instructions or diagrams, some need a video from a certain angle, so we just keep keeping at it I talked to our customer support team about that warning and they say they've seen it pop up for some customers whose web browsers haven't been upgraded in awhile. If you're visiting us using an older version of Chrome, or perhaps Internet Explorer or Safari, you may need to upgrade to use those program's latest security features.

Yes my MacBook needs some TLC.I changed the hard drive myself and not sure if I partitioned it correctly! I have other Tablets and my phone...I just love watching a video and then popping over to shop for stuff. Thanks for checking for me. I do love when someone creates something cool and different, like this loom..my husband has made me several looms. Love you guys hearing your voice and watching your videos, is like visiting with a friend to me!!!

Thanks Deborah, that's sweet to hear. We love knowing that people enjoy watching these so much :) Nice job putting in the new hard drive by they way, I've done that on a few MacBooks and it can be a pain. If you got it to boot though it sounds like you managed the tricky part. Even if something's off with the partitioning I wouldn't expect that to mess with your browser. Check and see if you've got the newest version of Mac OS X the MacBook can run, and then see if you're using the latest version of your browser that will run on that OS. That's probably all it needs.

This product seems awfully tedious with a whole lot of extra work and set up involved. I'm not really sure I see the point of it.

VirgoMoon9675 omg have u ever used the traditional looms? Trust me, this is way better, and u can use it anywhere. It is a fabulous idea. Try it with the elasticity cord. O wow. 😸

@@CharChar876 The set up for this specific type of bracelet is rather long. The difference is that you are adding the clasp at the beginning instead of the end. All in all, this would not be any slower than a normal loom.

Why do you have to have such a difficult loom....half of the work you already did with the needle.....so much for the rubber bands.....make life easy and get an easy pezy loom to make bracelets..
@beadaholique
@beadaholique 4 жыл бұрын
Nice thing about the endless loom is that the pieces it makes end so cleanly. You don't have to tie off any stings and that gives you a wider variety of finishing options. You're right that it's definitely trickier to learn than something like a jewel loom, but it has its uses.

@beadaholique
@beadaholique 3 жыл бұрын
This loom definitely adds a lot of extra steps but it does have a few advantages for specific use cases. It's even more compact than the Jewel Loom, and it lets you loom pieces that are a bit longer than that and other compact looms. Still, we've done many more Jewel Loom pieces over the years than Endless Loom pieces. Simplicity does count for a lot.

This loom can be pretty tricky compared to most of the others we carry. It's good at what it does, but if you're looking for a loom that's easy to learn I'd recommend the Jewel Loom, it's been the favorite in our design space for years: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hKbFlZZ4j66LpNU
