@@ahfoonyork7119 Yes, follow my tutorial. Decrease top part value ... then instead blending, you just lower top part (or vice versa part) to zero.

That was perfect, thanks. I'll need to set up a performance with Piano & Strings, with a FC7 controlling the volume of the strings. Now I know how...thanks again. Question... why did the volume of the piano get very low when you assigned the FC7 to Part 2? Would increasing the volume of Part 1 using Knob A bring the piano back up to more volume?

that's correct, you still have an option to change the volume of each part manually with Volume knob (A)

What do you mean midi footswitch? Midi can be connected either 5-pin port or usb-port. Where do you plug your midi footswitch to?

@@chrisyoung1807 if that is the case then from your foot midi controller just send correct midi program change command and correct number. You need to check the footswitch manual for it.

You have to understand FC7 is continuous controller that increasing value from 1 to 127, not a switch (1 OR 127), so the answer is NO.

Yes! You can set it with the same concept. With moxf you set the main voice with inital amp volume by zero.

When using a sustain pedal on the MX61, does it function like an actual digital piano sustain, or is it more like a 'hold'? I have a Casio CT-S500 and the sustain pedal function is useless. It's basically a 'hold'. It doesn't sound realistic. Also, you press the pedal to turn off the sustain. Unpressed and it's 'hold' all the time. It's backward.

depends on the voice you are playing. some voices are just hold, other like sustain. check you pedal polarity for correcting the on/off switch.

@@mdmusiz When it comes right down to it, it's PIANO that really needs good sustain pedal functionality like that of a digital piano. Are you happy with the sustain functionality when playing piano presets? Maybe this would be a good little video to do a demonstration of.

Yes, you can pick any voice from categories and assign it to each 1-16 channels. Save it as your set of 16. When you perform, just click to button “PART SELECT”, then select your saved Voices from each 1-16 buttons.

That’s custom assignable controls for each voice. Example, the guitar sound “Alt Rocker” has assign1 for delay and assign 2 for distortion. I’ll do video how to create your own controls soon.
