How to use the FPV Wifi Camera of the syma x5sw without the quadcopter

Here's how I use the FPV wifi camera from the syma x5sw without connecting it to the quadcopter.
It's actually pretty easy to do and you can just directly connect the wifi camera to the battery and it'll work.

Verified this also works using Dean's type connectors, female end on the battery wires. Mounted this on the f450 I built as a temporary camera :D I can also charge the 1s with my iMax B6.

nice mod but you could have just used smaller wire plug connector like the one on the battery connector instead of the USB dongle Male and Female connector since it only needs + and - wire the USB dongle sockets is bit heavy and hustle if your going to use it as a pocket or SPY cam

dear SIR, I've ordered S5sw wifi fpv camera.. when i connect it into the drone red light begin blinking, And wifi hotspot have been created, and i connect my phone into that wifi network and start syma fpv official app (Downloaded via playstore) When i open the app it's get only blank, Nothing appears on it., soo what's the problem? Is the problem with camera or app? Please please please help me

not sure if it works on 5v but i have a video on how to do it, the yellow wire is the signal wire. if u connect a press switch between the black and yellow wire u can just use it without wifi

You must charge it first and make sure you correctly connect the wires.
