What carrier do you suggest for a 9-12 month old?
@TheBabywearingAcademy Жыл бұрын
Something like the Manduca XT or LennyLamb Upgrade are great up to around 2-3yrs of age (depending on baby), but do try before you buy - either by visiting your closest sling library or by postal hire with a sling library. Road testing slings & carrier by hiring from a sling library helps you to avoid expensive mistakes!

This mentioned up to 15kg. My child is 12.5kg, do you think it’s ok for them if they’re at the back?

It will be safe, but I promise there are more comfortable options at this stage. Have a look at the Manduca XT - great for a back carry (plus front & hip/side carrying), but will last until 3yrs of age.

Is it safe to allow a baby to sleep on the back in the infantino flip?
@Billiessillies2 ай бұрын
That's what I'm wondering, my baby fell asleep in it today but his head was not supported so we took him out
@TheBabywearingAcademy2 ай бұрын
If your baby is sitting unaided & your carrier fits well enough that they won’t slump down in it when they fall asleep, then it will be fine. If their head flops, you want to check their seat - make sure they are supported from knee to knee, in a proper seated position. If their knees drop down their head will flop. If they are properly supported they will generally rest their head on your back/shoulder. Hope that helps.

@@TheBabywearingAcademy oh okay I think my baby was not situated high enough on my partner's back

And also baby didn't have knees up high enough possibly because I think their torso wasn't really curved
