The momcozy instructions say when crossing over the second arm strap to secure it through a safety elastic (male buckle and rest of the strap) before clipping it into the female end. I cannot locate this. Someone else recommended putting the whole second strap through the loops on the actual padded bit. Can you help with this? I would just like to ensure it's failsafe as a buckle has broken on a different carrier before. Thank you for all your helpful videos

I think they must be old instructions- my Momcozy doesn’t have safety elastics either. The majority of the time, I don’t use safety elastics. If your carrier is genuine (ErgoBaby, for example, are often faked) and you listen for a clearly audible click when you do the buckles up, they are unlikely to fail. It’s one of the points tested during the safety testing that carriers undergo.

No, this carrier does not offer that as an option. This hip/side carry is a great alternative.
