Of all the times I've seen a moviola demonstrated, this is the slowest I've seen it used :D Makes me really appreciate the craftmanship that went into old school film editing. "I want to make a cut and insert a shot here. OK, I'll stop, rewind, mark, open pull out, into splicer. Cut. Thread in insert shot. Close find frame, mark, open, splice, join with main edit, reinsert in moviola, respool, thread up. Go back. Review FUDGE!!! Slightly too soon, need 5 more frames! OK where did I put the cut-off strip... open, etc". And that's all assuming no extra sound has to be synced to the footage. :D I mean, I appreciate the effort. But I do not envy it. :P
